My husband and I came to this hotel on Friday of last week hoping to get some time away from work and normal life. Upon check in we realized the hotel was probably overdue for a renovation. All of the public areas looked really nice and especially the pool. When you enter the lobby it seems very glitzy and upscale...

Dear Jessica L, Thank you for taking the time to let us know more about your experience. We are relieved Shawn was able to step in and transform your stay into something truly exceptional. We stayed as a family as we were visiting Universal Studios. The location is only a few minutes away from Universal and City Walk. The shuttle is quick, and you could walk in less than 10 minutes. We had a standard room, 2 queens. Unfortunately, the rooms do not have mini fridges, which may be fine for business travellers, but...

We are pleased you enjoyed our location near Universal Studios, our newly renovated pool area, and our friendly staff service. We hope it was communicated that refrigerators are available for rent, and free Internet access is available in the Link@Sheraton center for your convenience. We understand the importance...

Just OK. Considerably over-priced. Here's the fun part... THEY decide whether you get heat or AC in your room! There is some weird HVAC system that can only run one or the other, so the hotel decides which they will run based on the weather. If you are uncomfortable, they will give you a portable heater or there is a...

Dear Scott P, Thank you for your review. We regret if at any point you were uncomfortable during your stay. Given our location just outside of Los Angeles, we are usually subject to predictably temperate weather. Our HVAC system is run on a universal grid that our engineering team manages, and, as you note, we are happy to provide our...

During our stay there was a wedding going on and the dj music was so loud our walls were literally vibrating. Over a 2 hour period we called at least 3 times to request the front desk get the noise under control. Unfortunately for us they couldn't have cared less. By the way, rooms are average at best, bathrooms small...

Dear Nicole L, We appreciate you taking the time to review your stay. We are concerned that your requests for noise control were not honored, nor were efforts taken to relocate you to a more peaceful area of the hotel. Dear James W, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Sheraton Universal. We are pleased to hear you rested in comfort and had pleasant interactions at check-in. This is a good option if you are visiting Universal Studios, otherwise too far from the rest of L A. The Restaurant and the cafeteria prices were expensive, the crowd at the hotel lobby was not very nice

Dear JRB18, We appreciate the chance to hear a bit more about your stay at our hotel. Our location is indeed central to Universal Studios, which is a bit outside of downtown Los Angeles. That being said, our proximity to the Universal/Studio City Metro stop can make access to downtown very easy. Moreover, while it is not clear if you...

The hotel has a decent fresh update at lobby with a new bar. There was also a decent upgrade in rooms, but rooms could be more upscale. It's a perfect location if you go to Universal Studios. It's old hotel, but you don't have too many choices for this location. We visited during one of the hottest weekends of the year and the pool was closed. We had to go to Hilton to use the pool which was very inconvenient.

Dear Natasha332, We appreciate the chance to hear a bit more about your stay.
