We stayed here for the next-door Magic Castle experience. This hotel is more of a family, kid-friendly hotel, and we are a couple. It was a bit noisy but tolerable. Rooms were clean, so nice to have a full suite for a good price -...More
There are many great reviews so I'll keep this short. My 5th trip or so to LA in the last year. First time getting to see Hollywood (started at Paramount, and then from the hotel it's a short block from the Dolby Theatre, etc).

The MC is in a decent area but you need to keep your eyes open at all times. Hollywood Blvd is 2 blocks away which will be a different adventure. Public transportation is available but I suggest you use UBER to go to attractions. Driving can be stressful if you have never drove in the states. I was in Australia for a month and it took me a week to get adjusted to your driving. FYI, the MC has Vegamite in a tube for breakfast. Welcome to the USA!
