The hotel is under construction and there's no running water. It's noisy and dusty. Holes on the ceiling. I'm having heavy allergy and headache. It's not a three star hotel. I will rate it NONE star. They charge $8 daily parking. With such terrible quality and environment, I would prefer to pick another hotel with free parking and have a...

This place is NOTHING like how it is portrayed in pictures. The place is dreary and gray even from just the outside. The lobby is extremely deceiving because it looks well kept and remodeled, but the rooms and hallways are nothing like that. Immediately when you enter the elevator, you can tell the place is extremely run down by its...

Late getting done on job, could not find a hotel, stumbled onto this place. The nastiest place I have stayed at in Thirty five years of travel. To top that off guys charged me $186 bucks. This place should be condemned, no kidding it was that bad.

I never paid so much for a room like this! It's was dirty and stinky! The shower was only cold, the internet did not work. The outside door was already broken we did not feel safe. The breakfast was only mussli and yogurt itself there it was everywhere dirty. The picture that the hotel shows on his page and even...

The hotel was clean, neat, secure, and the continental breakfasts were great. The Metro Subway was just down the street giving us easy access to Hollywood Blvd. without having to pay very high parking fees.

Very nice and clean hotel with an amazing location. The Metro station is like minute walking from the hotel. From the street of the hotel you can see Hollywood sign even i mean really good location. The major attractions are not to far as well (TLC, Walk of fame, Dolby theater) everything is 10-15 minutes away. They have nice and...

If I was to offer someone advice who was planning a visit to LA, I would advise them to avoid spending a fortune to stay at a hotel Downtown and to stay at a mid-range hotel close to the Metro line. For us, the Avenue Hotel ticked all of our boxes. The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly and helped...

First thing that hit us was the smell of the lobby, you know that over powering disinfectant smell trying to mask an order but not quite doing the job, well that was the smell. It took 4 tries before we found a room that was not moldy smelling, walls with lots of damaged, obviously not cleaned before we found one...

The place is dirty with bad personal . The only thing nice was at check in , other personal look at the phone and doesn't care about you . Complementary breakfast end at 9, and if you are eating they clean your table without taking care of you . Good point is he strategic position in LA. You can find...

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
