Awesome location to Hollywood nightlife. Josephine is the best! They were very caring and made sure I had everything. Treated me like I was important. From the top staff to the security to the bar man! Wonderful! Like home!
Let me say that first of all Natalie and Daniel an all the folks at front desk went above and beyond for my and my wife having had to stay in a long stay because of a job relocation. The hotel is great and is close to everything you would want. It hope Natalie and Daniel get a raise from this comment. Also the people serving coffee daily and the people helping with luggage. It was an amazing experince.
We had our astonishing breakfast in a great rooftop, delightful food and good service. Room is quite comfortable.I really recommend. The hotel is settled in a beautiful area, where you can see de Hollywood hill from your room and rooftop. Next to Griffith observatory as well. Excellent Hotel !!
Loyal repeat customer to the Dream LA location. Hands down the Best Hotel experience in the Hollywood / Vine area, -be it business work travel or leisure. Fantastic service. Everything you need plus a helpful, friendly, accommodating staff onsite..
Cesar is the man! He made our experience extremely memorable and made sure everything was perfect. Ask for him when you stay at the Dream hotel and you will not be disappointed. Thank you Cesar!! You made my birthday a great one
Amazing place, must stay. The place is beautiful and food is the best. Make reservations for the spots next to the hotel. Sarah is the best at the front desk she will be able to help with all your needs.
I'm an executive assistant to the Dean of a university in Boston. I very often have to chase down my boss's missing receipts. This is a task that generally takes a lot of time, effort and follow up on my part. I recently contacted Dream Hollywood for two missing receipts and received a prompt response from Josephine, a reservationist. One of the receipts was for a reservation, but the other receipt was for a visit to one of the hotel's restaurants. Josephine went above and beyond by reaching out to the restaurant managers for the receipt she couldn't supply to me. She made this normally frustrating task so easy and pleasant and I received both receipts within 24 hours!
Not just a great property. And it is a great property by the way. It’s the staff that makes this hotel stand out from all the others I’ve stayed at in Los Angeles. If you want to feel appreciated as a guest, this is the place to stay. The Dream is now my go to hotel when I’m in town. Hats off to the entire staff at the Dream for making our stay an excellent one. See you all again soon!
I booked a room at the Dream Hollywood for seven nights because my husband had heart surgery scheduled at Kaiser Los Angeles on Sunset Boulevard. I knew I would not want to be driving 3 hours roundtrip (or more, in rush hour traffic) to my home every day. I haven’t lived in Los Angeles for > 40 years, so I checked hotel reviews carefully before choosing the Dream. The hotel did not disappoint! The location, style, sense of safety, comfort in the room, and views were all great. The fact that the hotel is affiliated with 3 Tao Group restaurants was another reason for my hotel choice; I knew I wanted to be able to get room service or eat outside at one of the restaurants during my stay as I was being very careful about exposure to any germs because of my husband’s surgery. The rooftop pool area and the Highlight Grill were very cool; unfortunately, the weather during my stay was not conducive to enjoying them. I cannot say enough positive things about the staff at the Dream Hollywood. From initial check in with Tara and Natalie, my stay was a great experience. I can’t remember how it came up, but they even had a mini frig sent up the first night – which was nice since my stay was going to be so long, and I had brought some food and drink items with me. When I arrived at the hotel my second night (the day of my husband’s surgery), Tara and Natalie inquired about my husband, and sent me up to my room with a lovely bottle of rosé (Tara remembered I’d had a glass at their wine/cheese set up on the first night). With only one exception, every staff member with whom I interacted was professional, warm, and went out of their way to ensure my stay was as perfect as possible. The valets, security/doormen, bellmen, housekeeping, Highlight Grill bartenders (Anton and Francisco) were so charming. Mike, the very nice night desk person, got me coffee nearly every morning an hour before official coffee service started (that is a weird thing about Hollywood I discovered – no one must want to get coffee before 7 or 8 am – even in coffee shops near the hotel). The mornings I held out till 7:00 for coffee, Sam, the barista, was the one of the loveliest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of being around. She is so sweet and positive. (not so much the other barista on Sam’s days off; she was the perfect example of a person who should never be in a service job; she was haughty, rude and unpleasant.) Wait, that’s not all. Each of the first three mornings of my stay, I asked the front desk person to have an engineer check out a light in the bathroom which seemed to have a mind of its own – it would go on and off intermittently. Mid-day on the third day while I was at the hospital, I received a call from the manager, Sara. She apologized for the issue with the bathroom light – which she thought was especially troubling since my husband was in the hospital. She asked if it would be ok if they upgraded me to a corner suite?? What a lovely gesture – and what a lovely corner suite! I got back to the hotel after 7 that night, had a great dinner from the Highlight Grill – which was served in the lobby because of the rain, and then Natalie came up with a luggage rack and helped me move to the other end of the hall on the same floor. Sara had also made a point to tell me to call her with anything she might be able to do for me. I took her up on that when I realized I needed to get a haircut in the next couple of days and had no idea where to go. She got me an appointment the next day with the salon her mother and grandmother have gone to in Beverly Hills for years. I was a little nervous because I’m quite picky about my short hair cuts, but had one of the best haircuts I’ve had in years! In the end, I extended my stay two nights, and my husband was able to spend the last night with me at the hotel before we drove home the next morning. We had room service delicious crispy chicken sandwiches from the Highlight Grill for dinner, and excellent breakfast in room in the morning. All in all, there is no question where I’ll book when I need to stay in Hollywood again!…
The place is immaculately clean and always smells great. Bailyn and Daniel are top notch hospitality pros. The gym is small but again very clean. Sam at the coffee counter makes a perfect Cortado.
