Booked a double double. Stayed In building 5 with interior access, directly behind Los Gatos High school Sports complex. Hard to find parking, it looked like tons of contractors working on homes in the area were staying there. They spray a ton of Febreeze or something on the floors in the room. Furnishings OLD. Bedspread stained, old blanket. Did not...

Stayed here for a week the end of February. All prepaid airline tickets and hotel room package deal. Hotel clerk wanted my credit card for incidentals, understandable. When I check out no extra charges everything looks good she says. I get my credit card bill couple weeks later with a charge from the hotel. I call and ask, the hostess...

Great value for a decent room with breakfast compared to all the ridiculously priced offerings in Sunnyvale & Santa Clara. If you're renting a car and don't need to follow a 9 to 5 schedule I highly recommend. There was rain and mudslides affecting traffic when I was there but even with that it never took me more than 35...

Having been to the place 40+ years ago, I did not expect sparkling new. The room was actually fresh, clean and pleasant. Room maintenance was going on in a room across the hallway, but it was the sound of work, not music from the worker. Breakfast was fine and well presented. It was cold at night, so I had to...

...unfortunately, that will require new management and significant investment. Rooms are acceptable except for small, outdated bathrooms, which really let the place down. The sink in our room was just big enough to wash our hands in, the toilet was stained. The shower/bath was old, and the shower head far too low (at shoulder height on a 178 cm man)...

If I had booked this myself, I would have walked away and found an alternative after the first night; as the office booked it, I had to stick around. It is sufficiently depressing that my colleague and I sat in our car for a good 30 minutes rather than go back to our rooms. The pro: good location. The big...

For me, staying at Los Gatos Lodge was all about not paying $500/night for a Residence Inn in Mountain View. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the room was. The HVAC worked well, the bed and pillows were great. Also, the TV was a nice 40in flat screen that included cable with several premium movie channels. My only complaint...

Although this hotel is relatively expensive considering the area it is not a bad bargain. Centrally located for business in Los Gatos. Hotel is a bit old and could use some updating but overall it's a good place to stay. Comp breakfast is very good as well.

I don't know why this 1958 relative bargain Lodge with spacious grounds doesn't get a higher rating. It is a bit dated, but rooms comfortable and quiet. I was in bldg 6, closer to the highway but in non/highway side of bldg. My 2nd floor balcony was quite spacious (first floors have patio). There is a new restaurant (Grill 57)...
