I recognize we are still on the back half of a pandemic but I feel the people running the campground currently are taking full advantage of the situation. No showers, no activities such as amphitheater no tennis after 6:00 pm. Basically, they shut down at 6:00 pm and lock the gates to the tennis court. I asked why they did that and they said for covid safety. I responded with then why do they leave the park open for all the children? No answer.I can't remember when the wading pool was last open. I said if you are going to close down and lessen my experience and that of my children you should charge less. The response - we decide not to raise the prices this year in lieu of the lesser services. Epic fail. I won't go back until the contract is awarded to another campground management team.

This camp ground did not disappoint. Big campsite, lots of trees cover, plenty walking and bike tails. Walking distance to streams.
Only problem is office closes at 6pm, We arrived at 6:30pm and didn't bring any firewood. Good thing Sundance lodge is only 8mins away and their office closes at 8:30pm. We were able to get firewood there.

Although a beautiful camp ground, we found after not being able to get in for a year and finally being able to reserve, we were unaware of the change in rates, cost for showers that was never there and the fact the hot tub was no longer working. We always enjoyed a hot tub after a long hike. We also found the staff not as friendly as they use to be.

We will not likely come back to this camp ground, which I thought I would never say, but the cost is too much and we are disappointed with all the changes.

Although the park is in a beautiful setting and offers good amenities, I caution others to be aware of their online booking system. While booking online I was searching for limited sites and trying to decide on the number of nights and services I would need for my family's stay. In error, I booked a site for two nights and within two minutes realized that I had chosen the wrong site. I immediately cancelled, booking the site which was correct. It was my error. However, the organization still charged me almost $100 for a service I did not use as I had cancelled within 72 hours of arrival. I contacted Brooklyn at the service desk to see if there could be any sort of a refund. I was willing to pay a booking fee as the change was my error. I also asked if I could apply the senior's discount (I am a senior citizen) to the cancelled reservation to at least recover some of the money I had paid for a service I did not receive and a lapse of judgment for 2 minutes. I was told that I would not be entitled to a refund of any sort and the seniors discount could not be applied to cancelled reservations. I then emailed two management people (Kurt and Sandi) at the RV park. However, my email has not been acknowledged (I am thinking ignored), even after two weeks since I first sent the email. In essence, because of a brief error, which I tried to correct within minutes, it has cost me over $150 to stay for one night at the park. We opted to leave after one night as the park was crowded, noisy and there is not a lot of room between many of the sites. The bathrooms were nice, though and the mountain setting is beautiful. I feel that this organization feels they have a monopoly in the area and money, not fairness is the main focus of the Mount Kidd RV Park management. If you are willing to forego the tennis courts, pay showers and flush toilets, I recommend looking for other campgrounds in the area that seem to be fairer to people, especially in this economic situation.

This campground was mint in our opinion. Really too bad they don't offer summer seasonal spots, as we would book in a heartbeat.

In short, the sites were spacious and CLEAN. The little trails were beautiful, and led you to the most amazing views. The walk along the creek where there is pebble rock is such a cool little spot where you can take a picnic or sunbathe while you watch the golfers at Kananaskis play. Great gift shop not only with food items, but awesome merch. Stuff I'd actually buy, wear and use on future camping trips, not just knick knacks.

For reference, we stayed in Loop C, Site 30

Hope to visit again soon!

We booked enroute from Winnipeg and 3 days before arriving were involved in a hot and run forcing us and trailer off the road and into ditch. Contacted to cancel and because it wasn’t within 72 hours - no refund. $131 and we never stayed a night as the bottom of our trailer was damaged - no water no sewer as well as our truck. Poor customer service - no refund. I will never reserve or camp here again.

We travel from Calgary and it is so convenient it is exactly 1 hour 20 minutes from our door. We have 2 kids and 2 dogs and have never had any issues with staff or neighbors. Everyone is always so helpful and friendly. We will continue to keep camping here into fall!! We love all sites as they are awesome for privacy, enjoyment for the kiddos all over the park and we always bring our bikes so we can ride together.

We booked a site for camping with our family.
We were extremely disappointed that the office was closed at 6pm.
There was no way to buy tokens for the shower or firewood.
We spent the day golfing and really wanted a shower before bed!
Not impressed.

We were looking forward to this but for the whole stay there is a huge family with so many screaming toddlers and a crying baby and they are right across from us. I’m in the trailer with the doors shut just to try to shut them out. Painful. Why allow so many trailers in one site? And park these guys away from others.

Fabulous place to stay, we tented with family we were in loop A and it was close to the store. The bathrooms were clean, granted a little outdated but the showers were hot (pay showers). We had a great weeks stay. The trails were great to explore and we always had something to do.

I think I recall that it was $11 plus tax per bundle, approx 8-10 pieces of wood in each bundle - available at the camper's centre store during normal operating hours.
