I stayed here one night while passing through the area on the way to Yosemite. The hotel is old, but you could tell that the management was taking a lot of effort to keep it looking clean and presentable. The carpet of my room was old, and had a few questionable stains. The bed skirt probably hadn't been washed in... More

This motel is good but could be better. On our visit the pool was out of order even though it looked really inviting. Lady at reception was friendly but matter of fact. The rooms were clean and comfortable and a good size. It is close to the rail line so be prepared for a couple of night trains to rumble... More

First of all it is located directly beside train rails where they are driving and blowing the horn all the night at least every 20 minutes. You feel like sleeping in an trainstation and paid for it. At least you Get a free Massage everytime a train passes by. Second major Problem is the false advertisement. The laundry isnt working... More

This hotel is older and has few frills or conveniences. The television viewing is very limited. There are no modern outlets for electronic devices. It is reasonably lean and provides the basic needs required by most travelers. The breakfast is one benefit however. It is one step above continental and is cooked to order fresh. The beds are pretty comfortable... More

Night clerk was friendly and helpful room was a king a good sized room and fairly clean. Flat screen TV with only a few channels to pick from not the best picture on it. Hotel is next to train tracks and they would sound horn as the passed near by did not hear it after 10pm and not until abort... More

My family stayed here on a stopover on our way from San Diego to Yosemite for some camping. So we arrived after a long car ride with a minivan packed to the gills and a dog who had to pee. For what it is, a dated cheap travel hotel in bad need of an overhaul, it's actually quite good. Our... More

Stayed her before our visit to Yosemite the following day. The hotel is older. Needs updating. Located in the middle of town--easy to find right off Highway 99. The desk staff was very nice. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. There wasn't a microwave but there was a fridge which wasn't plugged in so it took awhile to... More

The room was a nice size. The toilet did not flush, you had to take the top off to flush it. Carpet was dirty. It wasn't bad, we were only there for 2 nights and I have stayed in worse places, the front desk was very nice and professional. It's Madera, what can I expect? The wi-fi had Netflix blocked... For the price that I paid, this property is worth it. The service is great. The room needs upgrade though: The TV is small and the reception is not clear. The number of channel is also limited. They didn't have FOX news. The breakfast service is great.

Looks pretty good outside, but is really needing an update on the inside. There is an odor in the hallways and also in the rooms. Room did not have a microwave, but had 2 refrigerators--neither of which was plugged in. How much trouble would it be to have a data port on the desk. We had to search for a... More
