We apologize for the lack of communication and/or the miscommunication from the Staff. We do not charge for an outgoing fax but we do charge for receiving a fax and copying. I also want to apologize that there were spiders in your room we will discuss the importance of re-checking the rooms between guests. We do want to thank you...

Stayed here during Thanksgiving, and had a great experience. The place is not in Monterey, but in Marina. It's walking distance to the Marina State Beach, which is beautiful. Bonus points for the super hot heated pool. It was worth it to brave the cold at night for a hot swim. The breakfast provided is ok. Good to nibble on...

Booked 3 rooms as were travelling as a party of 6 to break journey between LA & San Francisco. We requested quiet rooms away from Highway noise as had read previous reviews suggesting this could disturb you. The receptionist was lovely and welcoming. We were given 3 rooms 2 next to each other & 3rd room just next door but...

This place was old, dirty and dilapidated. We couldn't even have hot water to make a cup of tea! Staff were unfriendly and did not want to help us. Would not stay here if it was the last hotel around. Would NOT recommend it. Traffic noise from the highway was noisy and we could hear people in the room next...

Nice simple hotel in the Monterey area. Not far from all the tourist attractions without having to pay the Monterey high prices. The complex is old but generally well maintained. Rooms are simple, dated but clean and quiet. Nothing to rave about but nice and simple and a good value for the area.

So, I book a room for six. I had more than expected coming with me. Manager says she can't book us in the six persons room, but didn't offer to give us an additional room. She couldn't work with Priceline to get us situated. It is around midnight or so. It was cold and windy, my knee had been acting...

This is the worst hotel That I visited . So bad I didn't even end up staying there on a vacation to California . The general manager was rude and quite nasty while trying in vain to protect her receptionist. When I asked the receptionist why there was a sign stipulating there is a possibility of chemicals causing cancer birth...

I travel on business monthly. I stay in high-end and low-end hotels alike, all over California. I hardly ever complain to the front desk about problems with my rooms. I let a lot of stuff go. But this experience took about two hours out of my life, and I ended up having to change hotels. This hotel was formerly The...

The room itself was not bad, but the whole place needs a facelift and better management. The back of our shower curtain had some mold on it, and the furniture and fixtures in general look old an worn. The breakfast room looks like a converted storage room, too small for the number of guests and uninviting. We stayed there to...

If you want to read their other reviews, they changed their names from Quality Inn Monterey Beach Dunes. You need to really like the beach to stay here. The hotel is very run down. The breakfast room is a health hazard with food on the floor and peeled eggs in a bowl with nothing to pick them up with so...
