The location of the hotel was great. It's a very short walk to the beach and only a little over a 2 mile walk to the Santa Monica Pier. The parking situation was very fair compared to other hotels in the area. Our room ( hotel) was very clean. The staff was very pleasant. I would absolutely stay here again.

Very friendly staff and comfortable hotel. Nothing fancy, but everything arranged ideally for convenience. Lots of plugs for chargers in just the right places, pleasant downstairs areas for reading, meeting, talking. Nothing fancy, but good food in the breakfast area. Had intended to stay in pricey, crowded Santa Monica, but really glad we chose this instead!

Hilton Diamonds' parking used to be free. Now it's $18 which they don't tell you when you check in. The heavy wooden frame around the bed is too big for the bed, which has led to me banging my shin every time I've stayed here over the past year. I can understand that it will be expensive to correct this...

Great location - close to LAX. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good amenties (complimentary wi-if and in-room coffee). Attended wedding in nearby Marina Del Rey Yacht Club ( within walking distance). Easy transportation (driving, taxi or Uber)

We stayed at the hotel for 3 days over the holidays. The hotel is really nice, fits the 4-star standard and justifies the high price. Out only mix up was that our breakfast charge was added to the room bill, instead of charging the credit card that we gave the waiter. Great: - walking distance to ocean beach - modern...

Clean, nice helpful staff. Good for a short stay. Would not consider this a resort property ,as it is not on the water, and does not have a water view. It is a little far from other attractions in the area. If you are staying for a short stay it fits the bill. I thought $255 for the night in...

I think some reviews are maybe a little unfair given that this is a 3-star (not 4-star) property. And it is in most respects. Large (but a little soulless) public areas, friendly service, decent rooms and pool deck (small, but with hot tub). That said, it's fairly pricey. There is cheap overnight parking in the lot across the road if...

Hotel is well located. our room is comfortable. stay on Tues/Wed is good value. We found staff to be courteous and helpful. It is an easy walk to Mother's Beach and Venice. We didn't try restaurant or bar. Lobby is large and comfortable.

Had a good time except for one or two hickups. Shortages of staff was the primary concern. I don't mean bday recommending this hotel to my friends and family as long they overcome their shortcomings. Still fairly new facility👍

Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
