Stayed here on a beautiful May Day -- snow covered Mt. Shasta to the north in all her glory. Wonderfully restored historic hotel with large comfortable rooms. Get a corner room that lets in more of the beautiful light. The hotel's Sage Restaurant is top notch.

We were traveling and wanted someplace special to stay for our anniversary night. Mcloud hotel was perfect. At the suggestion of Cindy, we hiked the beautiful nearby waterfalls. We had room 227, a corner with great light and 2 comfy chairs. But, what we didn't have time to lounge in the gardens porches and cozy fireplace lobby. Next time, we...

We spent three nights in mid May at the McCloud Hotel. This is a very comfortable and well appointed historic hotel with delightful and helpful staff, in a very sleepy town. One bonus at this time of year is the tiny 'on premises' restaurant, the Sage. We ate dinner here two nights. I have to say, I am always grateful...

Dear Ariagne, Thank you for your positive comments about your stay and for sharing your dinner experience. We want our guests lodging and dining experiences to exceed expectations. Your server happily agreed to remake your steak to your liking. When your steak came back to the kitchen it did not look as if it has been cut into. On closer...

We booked nights here on either end of a trip, and our stays here were perhaps the best part of our trip. The hotel is lovely; we loved the arts and crafts interior details and decor. The staff are all gracious and helpful people, and genuinely are enthusiastic about being a dog-friendly hotel. Our room was very nice and had...

The McCloud Hotel is a comfortable hotel in McCloud, I like the way that in updating the hotel some of the original features have been retained. We stayed in a room on the first (ground) floor overlooking Main street, it was a little bare but comfortable. It was quiet, there is little traffic in McCloud. The room had two doors...

A beautiful and historic hotel built in 1916. Wonderful attention to detail with the restoration of this hotel - the artisan influenced design, the simplicity of furniture and artistic elements, comfortable bed/pillows, clean, upscale amenities, excellent breakfast included in your rate. Go back in time with the simplicity of sitting in front of the hearth fire, the game tables providing...

Charming and cozy antique hotel in this cute little town! Lobby has lovely sitting area with fireplace and area to relax. Early evening complimentary wine and snacks were offered to us. Our room was large and spacious with wood floors and a huge comfy bed with upscale linens. They have added a dining room but we had already made dinner...

We stayed in room 216. So welcoming and comfortable! We lounged, relaxed, did some reading, then enjoyed the huge jetted tub! Dining in the Sage restaurant was such a treat. The chef enjoys their job as is reflected in the delicious food. The staff was extremely accommodating, even bringing our dessert up to our room. Sitting by the crackling fire...

This is rustic interesting hotel with large rooms stair cases and whirlpool bath. The food is excellent and even brought to the balcony. There is night time wine served. Breakfast is wonderful and fireplace grand. I would recommend to anyway staying here, it is the best hospitality. With great management.

We stayed two nights at the McCloud Hotel over Valentine's weekend and had the best experience! The owners are such lovely people and really added to the enjoyment of our trip. On top of that, the breakfast was absolutely amazing!! We originally planned to eat Valentine's dinner at another restaurant, but the food was so good at Sage, we ate...
