After a brief trip for our first time to Mendocino, we decided that the Farmhouse would be the best place to have our small May wedding. We were able to rent every room in the house for the weekend, and invited our closest friends and family to come and stay with us. Marge was so accomodating and helpful with our...

The upside: We really enjoyed the Mendocino Farmhouse grounds....to say the very least it was both peaceful and breathtaking. The estate is surrounded by a lush green forest with plenty of wildlife and since it is about 2 miles from downtown it was very quiet. We loved the "Pine Room" that we stayed in. It was very romantic with the...

This is in response to some negative reviews that were pointed directly to the innkeeper at the Mendocino Farmhouse. Since there are more than one I want everyone to know that I do care about what people think, both the good and the bad. I would like to say that I have only good intentions and that sometimes in business...

Having just returned from our stay at the farmhouse, I decided to read some reviews from others that have stayed there in the past to see if any had the same experience we did. Although we found the room very clean and comfortable, we would not stay here again. The innkeeper, Margie definitely is not a people person...she really is...

A weekend at Mendocino Farmhouse is the perfect way to relax and unwind. If you want to get off the grid, the well-worn path, or the overcrowded vacation resorts, then head to Margie's place just outside of Mendocino. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous this time of year. The gardens, the deer grazing in the field, the beautiful rooms with comfy...

We spent a weekend here, and loved it! The location is great - quiet and peaceful on the farm, and close to all the shops and restaurants in town. The breakfast was great, but I missed having baked treats(muffins/danish) on the menu. The price is pretty reasonable a well,I would totally recommend this place for a weekend getaway.

My husband stayed at the Farmhouse for our anniversary. We chose to stay in one of the barn rooms, which was quaint, but a bit cold. The location of the room offered a lot of privacy and had a lovely garden area around it. We have stayed at quite a few b&b's and for us it could have been better....

Relaxing, peaceful, refreshing, beautiful romantic getaway. The property is perfectly located in a secluded garden/redwood setting only 2 miles from the beautiful Pacific coast. We loved the innkeeper who prepared wonderful breakfast each morning and gratiously visited with us daily. We loved getting to know her and to hear her stories about the property and this area of California. We...

Although we stayed only one night, we really enjoyed our time in the Pine Room at the Mendocino Farmhouse. The property is lovely and the breakfast was fantastic. The owner was very nice to us and the dogs were friendly. We liked staying out of the center of town. The drive in is short and it's nice to be in...

The setting was wonderful and the decor was cute. However, the bed was so uncomfortable we were stiff and sore from sleeping in it. In addition, dietary restrictions that we were told would be no problem before we booked were not accomadated. We will not stay there again and recommend against it, particularly for people with any dietary restrictions.

I've just returned from another great stay at the Mendocino Farmhouse. Spring has sprung and this is where you'll find it. Tucked away in the woods, just minutes from the town of Mendocino is this little oasis. This is my first review, though I've stayed at the Farmhouse many times and truly believe this to be a little piece of...
