We traveled to Mendocino and the Maccallum House for a family wedding. Our room "The Barn" was tiny and noisy (thin walls, footsteps above), but clean and simple. The price, which included a full breakfast, was still expensive for the value, especially with the wedding discount. The food at Maccallum was very good and the ambience at the inn was...

I love the MacCallum house and I stay there whenever they're having a special - it's a little pricey for my budget & lifestyle for a regular, rack rate, but it's not out of line with Mendocino prices. The food is mostly organic, and it's delicious. You just can't beat taking a walk along the Mendocino headlands after breakfast and...

We've stayed at MacCallum House several times, always (except for one time - our mistake) in the Barn Studio #17, the largest, maybe the most expensive, but the one we love and the only one we will stay at. It's roomy, cozy, convenient, romantic, excellent service, great restaurant, with great food.

We stayed in the Greenhouse cottage, which is right behind the main house, and we loved the experience. The cottage was much more spacious than we were expecting, especially after reading earlier reviews about other cottages. Part of the reason was probably that ours had two beds (king and double), and thus is probably meant for 3-4 people. The bathroom...

Wonderful setting of all the properties, not something you often find in Southern California. Enjoyed all the Inn had to offer, without knowing truly what to expect as this was our first time in Mendocino. Loved the easy pace of the suites and the overall feel of the surroundings. Can't wait to to go again!

Once you get beyond the friendly folks and wonderful location of the MH, everything goes downhill, and rapidly. We stayed in cottage #10. Now when we heard cottage, we presumed that we would be staying in a separate room and not be sharing a wall. But not so. Our "cottage" did share a wall and I feel sorry for those...

Enjoyed our 4th or 5th stay at MacCallum House....loved the dinner as usual...and the breakfasts are terrific. Was chilly out at night so we had a fire roaring in our room each evening of our three night stay. Very helpful staff. The proxmidity to the Headlands and the wonderful park just north of Ft Bragg make it an ideal location...

This is a great place to stay when you want to revist a place we Love to be at, Mendocino, or "Cabot Cove" as it's been known to be called on the "Murder She Wrote" TV series. You almost expect to see some of the cast to walk down the street. This was a get-a-way birthday week end for our...

We just returned from our romantic getaway at the MacCallum House in Mendocino. It was amazing in every way. It's perfectly placed in town, has a beautiful garden to look out on, as well as ocean views. If you can, you must get Room #19! It's the creme de la creme of rooms, the Upper Barn Suite. You have high...
