Our room was lovely in that it was quite large with a wood fireplace and quaint furnishings. The thermostat was not working, but there was a space heater, which along with the fire place provided adequate heat for the large room; however, there was no heat in the bathroom, which was freezing!!! Other than that the ambiance was soothing. The...

Everything about this place exudes homliness, from the welcome at the front door to the artwork in the rooms to the cinnamon french toast for breakfast. It was just the place we wanted. I would recommend wholeheartedly to others 👍👍

This place is awesome. Our room was gorgeous and romantic. And the owner and the rest of the staff couldn't have been nicer and friendlier. It was the morning that I proposed to my girlfriend, and we needed a place to shower and change and have breakfast and relax, after I proposed after driving up for a morning run along...

My partner and I just spent the last four nights at the Didjeridoo, and found it to be the perfect location for a much needed getaway. The owner, innkeepers, and cooks were great company and provided excellent breakfasts each morning. Our stay in the Water Tower was super relaxing. Fire place was ready for us, watched movies in the loft...

This trip in April brought us to the Didjeridoo Dreamtime Inn and we arrived at the tail end of a storm after a fairly hard drive up California 1. Fortunately, the inn keeper was prepared for our late arrival and had the room warmed, the fire laid for being lit and made getting into our room a very easy process....

Booked this last minute for a quick weekend trip. I picked this inn since it seemed to be walking distance from everything, and I was looking for a very laid back weekend with beautiful sights and relaxation. The inn keepers were very friendly and helpful. The inn is older but quaint and clean. We stayed in the back of the...

I can't say enough good things about this place, and I will stay here again if I'm ever in the area. The owner is fantastic and makes the most delicious breakfast. Our room was so big and comfy, I wanted to stay in bed all day (and clean!). The beach is a short walk across the street and down some...

Victorian guest home, originally built for families staying for extended visits with family member at local TB hospital. Very spacious rooms, high ceilings, large windows. From its origins, each room had in-room bath. Lovely, sloping grounds and garden with seating overlooking ocean. Side terrace with seating. Very pleasant, attentive staff. Full breakfast, includes eggs, pancakes, and more.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Great Food, Art, Music and Vibes await you at Didjeridoo. Set just across the road from the ocean bluffs and the oldest Presbyterian church in California our spot in the village is cool. Walk to great eateries and all the local shops or relax and meditate in our beautiful gardens and historic lobby. See local art displayed in our relaxed lobby, break bread with us at our open pot-lucks & drink wine with us :) If you play bring your instruments, music happens here. Didjeridoo is perfect for weddings, reunions, small private parties and any other happenings that need to be in a place of love and beauty. Our rooms are great too! They range from quaint to fancy, some Victorian some simple and zen, all beautiful. We are Mendo people and want your visit to our village to be special and cherished. Peace Please note Didjeridoo is not a place that uptight conservative people will enjoy, in fact they will write bad reviews and hate it like they hate many things in life. Didjeridoo is most enjoyed by cool people looking for a nice stay in a beautiful place in an extremely friendly environment. ... more   less
