Good size room, great on-site facilities in a lovely rural location. Super views and very relaxing. Staff were excellent, helpful and no issue too much trouble. The Inn was decorated beautifully with local works of art along with the greatest sitting chairs and great log burner fire....biggest I've ever seen save for a few castles in UK!!

We just had a 3 night stay in Mendocino's Brewery Gulch Inn. I chose it based on reviews I had read. I was looking for a classy quiet place where we could read (husband had just broken his big toe so hiking and a lot of activities were off the docket) be mesmerized by views, peace, and nature. BGI exceeded...

Our room was very nice, and the location (very close to Mendocino) was excellent. Breakfast was great. The only issue is that the buffet dinner, while of high quality, is served too early (5:30-6:30). And not long after that, the place goes very quiet.

My husband and I stayed at Brewery Gulch Inn last night. It was a last minute decision to travel North, and the fact the Inn is listed as the 46th best hotel in the world enticed us. It was a mistake. I would not return. There are many reasons why. Here they are - 1. There were cobwebs in our...

I am truly sorry that these concerns were not brought to our attention during your stay so that we might have had a chance to address them. I am glad that you emailed me immediately after departure. Hopefully, you will be able to use the refund I provided to stay at one of the many other fine inns in our...

The Brewery Gulch Inn offers an excellent option for those who wish to stay just outside of "downtown Mendocino". This small hotel (only 11 rooms) is situated on a wooded hillside above Highway 1. The facility is immaculate and the staff is friendly. Rooms are very quiet, and there is a nice outdoor deck on which to enjoy afternoon sunshine....

We didn't realize it when we booked, but the Inn had changed ownership since last we visited as a young couple ten years ago. We returned as a young family, and it was the same as it ever was, which is to the new owner's credit because he could have so easily messed up the formula trying to fuss with...

We stayed here for 5 nights. One of the best rooms is Raven. View of bay and ocean even from two large windows in the shower. Breakfast and dinner included in price if the room. We are vegan and they prepared good meals especially for us. Best part is that room service is free. Even the tip is built-in to...

This beautiful Inn has a relaxing ambiance. It is set in a gorgeous natural environment with interesting birds and flowers as well as spectacular ocean views complete with dramatic sunsets. Our Osprey room was spacious and comfy with great views off the balcony. Welcoming wine and luscious caramels made us feel right at home. Bed was huge and linens were...

We stated at BGI for one night with two other couples. The staff was welcoming, our room was well-appointed and comfortable and the property beautiful. We loved meeting the owner, Guy, and receiving his input on wineries to visit. Plus our stay at BGI gave us several free wine tastings in the valley. After our stay we headed to wine...

This is a lovely, small but sophisticated inn with view of coves and inlets. Marvelous made to order breakfasts and a great (but limited choice) dinner buffet very satisfying. Staff very friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. The in really won my heart when it upgraded me to an accessible first floor room after an airport fall which left me...
