I've stayed 4-5 times on short business trips. The staff has been always at 5 star hotel level. The motel is being remodeled and upgraded. Each time I come back it's newer and nicer than before. The prices are good for this area. Not cheap but not overpriced.

This recently renovated hotel provides very nice, clean rooms with very courteous staff. It is in the middle of Menlo Park and conveniently located to Palo Alto. Very good for business and leisure visits in the area.

This place was great. Andrew at the front desk was extremely helpful checking in and it was very close to a bunch of food/entertainment/etc as well as the Stanford campus. Can't say enough good things about the overall experience at the MPI!

I was in Menlo Park for a job interview and stayed the night at the Menlo Park Inn. I was extremely satisfied with their customer service. They truly care about the customer. From the continental breakfast, to the quality rooms, I highly recommend that you stay at the Menlo Park Inn. The room rate was very reasonable for the location....

Room rate was near $400/night, should have been in the $80-90 range. Noisy. Parking lot right outside the door. Parking stalls are very small so be careful with dings to your doors. I will not be staying at the Menlo Park Inn again when on business to the area.

Lovely motel. Quiet and clean atmosphere. Good breakfast. Convenient to the Stanford campus and region. Ample parking. The big plus is the extremely helpful staff, especially Denise, who provides "Ritz Carlton" service. Will definitely return!

Just completed a stay at the MP Inn. If you didn't know it you would think that you were at an old "Howard Johnson motor lodge" from the 1970's, as you park literally right in front of your motel door. The rooms have been renovated and are decent, the bed is average at best and no feather pillows (pet peeve...

Hi Kyle, thanks for the feedback. I'm glad Kasandra was a highlight to your visit. For the feather pillows, I'm not entirely sure how that would have happened. We do have hypo-allergenic pillows that are feather free on request, but for the most part we do have down pillows. I'll check in with my Clean Team to see which we...

This is a great find in the Menlo Park/Palo Alto area. It's very reasonably priced and the rooms are huge, quiet and comfortable. The rooms open to the outside, but there are lots of stairs and elevators to use to get to the top floors. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of coffee. I would definitely go back....

I really hate to announce what a great job this hotel does at making its guests feel welcome, as I may never be able to find another vacancy here. As it is, they are full nearly every night. I think their efforts to go beyond the norm that is expected in a mid-range hotel bears that fruit. The rates are...

Feel free to contact me next time you're in town at matt@concepthotelgroup.com, I'll make sure that if I have a room available that it will have your name on it. The overall experience is great, the reception guy named Andrew is very awesome and very friendly. He helped me a lot and gave me useful directions. The room is big enough for two people. Although you can still hear some noise from the road outside, in all it's quiet. The breakfast is good.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In a region renowned for razor-sharp venture capital firms and a generous dose of Stanford-style intellectual innovation, the Menlo Park Inn carves a decidedly unique niche - a sleek, utterly stylish inn that makes all-star service its top priority. Sure, our guests love our easy, under-two-mile access to Palo Alto, but what really makes them smile? We think it's the sweet smell of fresh-baked cookies. It's an Xperience you'll never forget. ... more   less
