    We spent 2 nights at Mill Creek Resort, cabin #3 while touring Lassen Volcanic Park. It is approximately 5 miles from the south entrance. The resort, set in the pines, is rustic but very clean. We enjoyed our stay.

    When I rent a 60's-era housekeeping cabin-in-the-woods, I do not expect plush towels, fancy shampoos or pillow mints. Instead, I hope for clean floors, a kitchen with enough pots and pans to fix a meal, clean linens and towels and no evidence of rodents. Eureka!...More

    Yes it is open in November and we used the heater this month and it worked beautifully.
