Casa Munras has made a name for itself for its amazing hospitality and historic charm. Every member of the front desk staff seems to be an expert on the city, and totally willing to make your stay at the hotel and in Monterey a memorable experience. I've been to Casa Munras many times and have enjoyed the quality amenities and...

Skip room 111 and definitely don't book through Priceline because you will get a bad room! The "cozy queen" does not have a desk despite the representation made on the hotel's website. Likewise, there is no bath tub, no bath mat and only two towels. We have no curtain in the bathroom, no fridge and no free outlet by the...

I liked: -clean bedding -immaculate room -nice soaps & shampoo -very helpful & knowledgeable staff -big flatscreen TV -walk in closet with door and combination-lock safe -quiet ceiling fan -10 minutes away from Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey Not so much: -pretty small room -thin walls (could hear neighbour's snoring) -no tub, just large shower -no AC -very tight parking access

i loved this quirky hotel, its set up like its own little village and a motel type accommodation, the lower rooms are noisy as old rooms and there was a lot of young men drinking when we went. The bar and restaurant is tiny but the service was good. very close to the waterfront and the bars and restaurants on...

The room was very comfortable with all the amenities one would need--ironing board, iron, hairdryer, alarm clock/radio, TV, desk, refrigerator, comfortable bed and good linens. The staff is wonderful. The only thing less than excellent was the food in the restaurant. I had Chicken Marsala for dinner that was tasteless. The food provided for the conference I attended was good....

This hotel is what appears to be an excellent remodel of a very old property, but you can still tell its quite old. The plus side of this is all the lush, mature landscaping though. It's a very good location and not stuck in the middle of the main cannery area - but you can still walk down there easily....

Great location, very comfortable beds and rooms. Walking distance to downtown and Fisherman's Wharf. Fridge and coffeemaker in room. Staff is very accommodating and had good suggestions on check-in. Very clean. My friend booked a massage and was impressed with the spa experience as well as the heated pool.

Our weekend stay at the Casa Munras Hotel was fabulous! The room is cozy and the beds are so comfortable. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Love the availability of dvd's to view in the room. Glad to have a coffeemaker and refrigerator in the room to enhance our stay. Great location. My first choice for lodging in the Monterey...

I have been to this hotel twice, both on Priceline deals. The first time I upgraded to a king room with a fireplace and really liked this place. We had a downstairs corner room that looked to be recently updated, clean, and private. This time I just stuck with the standard queen room. The room was a little bit smaller...

“Maybe a bottom room if you're staying only a night or two and have a lot of bags, as there are no elevators, but the stairs are not high.”

“Choose room 279. It's upstairs on a corner so it's quiet. The balcony is great for relaxing and you can see the ocean in the distance.”

“All seem nice, we were on the second floor and it was quiet and easy to get to and park nearby our room.”

“I would stay in an upstairs room away from the cars. The downside is that there is not elevator and you have to lug your stuff up stairs.”
