It was ok. The room was dated but it had a nice laminate floor and carpet. TV was old school and small. Bed was alright. Heater worked but not the ac. The fridge also didn't work. Blinds were dirty and also the railings above the coat hanger. The lady at the front desk was sweet and kind beyond words. I'd...

To start parking was weird not very many spots. The room it's self was overall pretty bad, blankets were super stiff and thin the pillows were equally as bad. The tv was circa 1997. When the lights in the bathroom were on you could feel the heat from the bulbs. Would I stay again? Nope

You really need to remove this place from your recommendations. It was awful. Dirty and stained carpets, smelled bad. The woman at the front desk was so rude. No coffee on premises anywhere. No continental breakfast. No air conditioning, everything in room was old and very dated. Small tv. Couldn't get wifi to stay connected. By far the worst experience....

Don't stay here! Plenty of better places that don't charge for every little thing an aren't rude, like Travelodge or Days Inn. Days Inn was full so they sent us here. The lady who helped us was hard to understand but we thought we understood all the extra fees that may apply. We were explained that there would be a...

Old and needs updating into the 21 century,, Landscape is very creative- but this is far from the rooms which are rented. There are undercover fees such as 2.50 a phone call- local and a dollar a day for just visiting and staying overnight. If you have a pet- you are out of luck when is comes to hotels- unless...

If you enjoy grimey walls, holes in your sheets, plugs that are loose and spark when you connect anything into them, a tv from 1975 and a shower that backs up and turns into a mini pond then the Monterey Fireside Lodge is for you. For 138 dollars a night you too can have the experience of staying in a...

I recently stayed at the Fireside and what a mistake. A complete misrepresentation on the internet. Let's start with the advertised air conditioned room. There was NO air conditioning. No mistake...just fraud. The motel is more of a residential motel. Although it was steaming hot without air conditioning,I was afraid to leave my windows open for fear the gang members...

Beware of this property!! Pictures and description on-line and over the phone are nothing like the actual room. Fireplaces do not work and when I asked about the kitchenette only having a sink and stove top knobs removed I was told it was due to fire department code enforcement. Carpet was beyond filthy and little refrigerator smelled so sour that...

The faux-leather dining room chair was peeling. The small ikea table with elementary-school style chair had a single harsh overhead light that made it feel like an interrogation room. The king-size mattress was the least comfortable "bed"-like horizontal surface I have ever slept on. My wife got up in the middle of the night and slept on the (random) twin...
