We spent two nights here and we were very pleased. Mr. and Mrs. Anderson (the owners) were very gracious hosts, and they take excellent care of their guests. We had an oceanfront room (there are only 3 of these) and it was both beautiful and immaculate. You won't find a nicer room in this area. Morro Bay was quite sleepy...

Stayed April 13th/13 - Very tidy, clean accommodations. Fabulous views of Morro Rock. Stayed in a room over the ocean but really just a room over the restaurant. However, highly recommend the ocean rooms as you can't beat the views and loved listening to the sea lions in the bay throughout the night. Fabulous owners. Very kind and accommodating.

The Anderson Inn deserves all of the great reviews that we read. The location is right on the water, and Molly and Jeff were wonderful in making us feel welcome and in giving recommendations for activities and places to eat. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, and the premium rooms that are directly on the bay give a breathtaking...

My family stayed at the Inn on the occasion of my wife's 50th and daughter's 21st birthdays. It was a special occasion matched by the extra special treatment we received at the Inn. The location is great, the rooms are first rate with everything you need and we can only repeat the comment of "seagullinn" about Molly, kindness personified. Perfectly...

My husband and I stayed here one night as part of an anniversary trip last fall. We first read about the Inn here on Trip Advisor. We really enjoyed it! Our room was beautiful and spotless and had a very nice view of the bay and Morro Rock. I agree with many of the other reviewers who said that the...

The Anderson Inn is right on the water in Morro Bay, perfect location. Our room was first-rate, simply but beautifully decorated, spotless, with every amenity you could want. But the thing that set it apart was the hospitality and graciousness of the hosts. Molly is a beautiful, charming woman, who who radiates kindness and welcome, and who runs the Inn...

Unfortunately we only stayed for one night on our way down to Los Olivos. I could have stayed for several days. We booked sort of last minute and were given a wonderful room with some view of the ocean and Morro rock as well as another deck overlooking the street in front. There are only eight rooms at the inn....

Even though we stayed at the Anderson Inn for one night, we should have stayed longer. Upon our arrival at night, the owner greeted us with smiles and open arms. Showed us around the hotel. Even asked if we wanted cream for our coffee in the morning and brought us cream. He reviewed all the details of the room and...

My husband & I visited Morro Bay before heading on to our primary destination, Sequoia National Park, where we were meeting our son and his fiance for the weekend. We arrived on Thursday, late afternoon, and after venturing out to the famous Rock and a quick drive along the waterfront, we inquired about a room at the Anderson Inn. Mollie...

We arrived after an eight hour car journey. We found the Inn easily as the town is small and easy to get around. We were greeted by Jeff Anderson, one of the family members running this small hotel. He was very friendly and of course has great local knowledge. He booked us into a restaurant for our evening meal and...
