Glad I'm only here for one night. The room is dingy with a broken chair and mold in the bathroom. It was a bargain price until the extra charge for my pet was added on (I wasn't told about that even though I mentioned that I had a pet). I could have stayed at the Best Western for the same...

We booked in on September 14 at about 5pm. They had our reservations ready to go. The rooms are clean as they can be and smell fresh. Beds are so very comfortable like sleeping on a cloud. Each room has a queen bed unless you get a double bed room which 2 queen beds. The bathrooms are clean and smell...

I arrived in Mt Shasta City late at night and just wanted a place for the night. This was an inexpensive one and my expectations were low. But, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom basic but adequate, the place quiet and the a/c worked just fine. In short, it easily met expectations. The owner was quite nice...

I stayed in Mt Shasta City, selected the Alpine per locals as an inexpensive place to stay. The room was old with original carpet, I didn't want to walk on it with bare feet... It was gross! The bed was an old, flat mattress, yet the sheets were soft and fitted. Old sockets with no easy access to recharge my...

It's a stretch to call this property a lodge. it is a 60's motel which is owned by some very hard working people. The breakfast was much better than I expected and included lots of fresh fruit. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are micro small. The room held a hodgepodge of furniture-a folding chair at a small table,...

Every once in awhile you need to stop along the road without having a reservation in the middle of the summer travel season. The Alpine Lodge was adequate for this purpose. No frills. Simple lodging. Close to coffee and dining. The managers are a nice family.

I judge motels by being inside the room and see how big the cracks are around the door. I could see plenty of light in this motel. There are a thousand inane rules and no accessible ice machine. You must go to the office and they will give you ice. Very inconvenient.

We hit a bear on I-5 and were able to secure a room at the Alpine Lodge (formerly the EconoLodge). The Best Western near the exit ramp was full at 2:30 am on Saturday. Our car was barely running and we knew it wouldn't go much further with the radiator smashed, power steering gone and transmission failing. They called for...

i think that the reviews on here are older because we had a good experience at alpine lodge. It looked like it had recently been updated. The bathroom was updated and spotless. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast snack was lean but thats ok. I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.

We booked a room at this motel on line. It looked OK, so on our way from Lake Tahoe we stopped here for the evening. BIG MISTAKE!! The location looked pretty seedy but we were tired so we unloaded and went to our "non smoking room", second BIG MISTAKE. The room smelled of tobacco smoke and was filthy. We looked...

“We stayed at the downstairs room at the far end on McClouds street entrance. There were 2 adjoining bedrooms so the unit is good for family with kids. I like the fact that we could park right in front of the room so we didn't have to lug our luggage.”
