We were so happy to stay here, sadly it was our last night of our trip along the northern coastline of California. We wished we could have stayed another night or two. Matt was a very gracious host along with his darling kids which happened to be right around the age of my kiddo. They all played in the beautiful...

We were only able to stay for one night, but we are already planning our next trip to stay at this inn and see more of the area! The owner was great and very hospitable. Delicious breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There is access to a balcony from many of the rooms, and we woke up to the...

Hmmm - mixed feelings about this place. The inn itself is quirky and retains many of it's original fixtures and fittings. It makes a nice change from the modern impersonality of most hotels we have stayed in. The Room was a good size, and again furnished with quirky touches. The bathroom is very small, but I guess bathrooms were small...

Checked in on the late side. Matt greeted us and gave us tips if we wanted to venture out. We chose to stay in as we traveled all day. Found a movie, had a beer we brought and relaxed. Breakfast the next morning fixed by Matt. Good little start to the day. We checked out early to get a start...

We stayed for 2 nights the weekend of a local race. Upon first arriving, we were surprised that the inn is wedged between the highway and the one main street in the tiny town. The little town is in extreme disrepair and the horrid odor of Marijuana is quite strong. The outside front grounds were presentable, but one of the...

We stayed for one night while visiting the redwoods in September, there were six of us in three double rooms. There is not a lot of choice n this area for hotels or motels so not much competition. The owner Matt has three delightful children who are very friendly and like the visitors, if you don't like kids you will...

Inn is old stage coach inn which has been in the family for 3 generations. Inn is not fancy but very comfortable and clean with relics from the early times on display. Owner very nice. Location is great to visit Humbolt state park where all the Red Woods are. Minutes away.

When I called to make the reservation I made it for two nights. When we arrived the very nice young man who checked us in said to us that we are "set for two nights". The next morning, he says to us at breakfast and I quote, "you can't stay here tonight because my boss said you didn't have a...

Best place we found along the Avenue of the Giants. Priced higher than accommodations Garberville but it's less busy and does not have the riff raff. Pros: - Small and informal - Good Breakfast. We had Scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles both days (typical I think) - Good Location - On the Avenue of the Giants - Friendly Owner Cons. -...

What a nice surprise this was! We were toward the end of a 10 day roadtrip with the kids, staying in a different place every night, Myers Country Inn was by far the best night sleep the entire trip! And the kids were so happy that there were children to play with; they had so much fun climbing trees and...
