First the good - Walkable location and pretty courtyard area, free covered parking with charging stations), large room with comfy bed and a kitchenette and coffee supplies.

But the service - Ehh....

On check-in, I specifically asked not to be facing the road and train station. Employee "checked" and said we would be facing the back of the hotel. Our room was smack in front of the train station, which luckily was not a major sound issue except for some road noise, but the exact opposite of what the employee said we would have.
No housekeeping service/towel change had been done when we arrived back at our room at 4 pm on the second day (we were here for 3 nights) but someone left new water bottles in the room (so someone entered the room to replace water bottles, but nothing else was done)
"Continental breakfast" is VERY skimpy so don't count on it. Today nothing was put out went we went downstairs at 8:30am. The first morning only a few small croissants were put out and were quickly gone.

Dear Beth TO, We are delighted to have been your chosen hotel during your recent stay in Napa. It was truly a pleasure to serve you. We appreciate your business and value your honest feedback. Your valuable feedback helps identify areas of opportunity for us to improve the guest experience. We certainly fell short on our promise to deliver exceptional service during your stay. Please accept my most sincere apologies regarding your experience. It was certainly not a typical experience here at Westin Verasa Napa and also not the renewing experience we strive to provide our guests. I have passed your feedback to our Leadership team to review and follow-up internally. We will use the feedback as a teachable moment and continue brainstorming ways we can exceed our guests' expectations. We recognize these are unusual times and thank you for staying at the Westin Verasa Napa.

I decided to treat myself and use points for a night stay, as I was craving some relaxation and pool time. I received an email a few days prior with a comprehensive overview of current available amenities - no valet, but parking garage is free, restaurant has limited hours, etc. They also temporarily have reduced the resort fee to $10. I know that most hotels and restaurants are dealing with staffing shortages, but it did not impact my stay at all. Upon check in, I was acknowledged as a titanium member and although I arrived super early, they checked me in and called me when my room was ready. The pool towels were always fully stocked and the surrounding areas were cleaned often by the housekeeping staff. The restaurant provided excellent service for a wonderful outdoor dinner and the fire pit/lounge area was the perfect atmosphere for a nice relaxing evening. This property did not disappoint!

I just completed a six week extended stay due to construction work happening at home and had to share my outstanding experience. The two-bedroom suite with a full kitchen and two bathrooms was perfect for the long stay. Every morning I would start my day working out on one of the Peloton bikes available in the fitness center (a major reason why I chose this hotel), grab a complimentary Starbucks brewed coffee from the hotel lobby, and sit on the sunny, spacious balcony overlooking the Napa River. The suite was well taken care of, quiet, and conducive to remote working during the day. Secure parking was another requirement for the stay and even during busy weekends with wine tasters coming in, there was always a space to be found. This hotel is extremely dog friendly, with all rooms available for guests with dogs and there are great walks and doggie bags provided throughout the grounds.

What made the stay above and beyond, starting a month before the stay and continuing until check out, was the phenomenal guest experience led by Katey Wheeler, the Rooms Division Manager. Katey was in contact before and throughout the stay to make sure I was comfortable and helped arrange housekeeping and use of the fitness center (now no longer required as Napa County has since entered a lower COVID risk tier). Throughout my six weeks, I always felt I had a direct line to someone I could count on in case any issues came up, but honestly, I had no issues! Every hotel should have a Katey!

I am grateful I was able to spend so much time in Napa and explore many new wineries…and call the Westin Verasa home during that time. Will definitely be back!

This visit didn’t meet our expectations at all, which was disappointing, considering we cashed in lots of Bonvoy points to stay here for 7 nights. The check-in process was quick, but the lady who checked us in, while professional was too hung up on the email they send out advising of their Covid procedures. We read them and they seem to fall in line with what we expected, but this seemed to be a crutch for lazy and otherwise poor service.
I say this because the halls on the third floor were filthy the entire time we were there, they were clearly never vacuumed, as we not only saw the same trash on the floors, we saw more accumulate. But we did notice the housekeeping staff in the halls each day. We called on the first morning there to tell them the phones in the room didn’t work, but they advised that while the room was occupied, they wouldn’t come in, which I’m fine with, but they could fix the phones when we were out for the day, away from the room. Along these lines, there’s no reason they couldn’t come in the room to freshen it up once or twice during a 7 night stay, if we let them know when we’re not going to be in the room.
The property overall was nicely laid out and decorated for Christmas, which we enjoyed. The elevators were very fast! The remote in our room hardly worked at all, but we knew we couldn’t ask them to do anything about it, since they didn’t seem to want to fix anything that was broken while we were there.

The bed was really comfy and the HVAC in the room worked perfectly, which is very nice, as it helped maintain our comfort. The couple of times I called the desk for towels, we didn’t have to wait long for housekeeping to bring them up, that was nice also.

Overall, this was a disappointing stay, it’s a very good thing we hardly spent much time in the room. Not sure if we’ll return to this property. But it’s definitely not worth the per night rate.

We just got back from a 4 day stay at the Westin Verasa. Overall I completely enjoyed it ! We had a 1 Bedroom unit that had 2 bathrooms in it and a full kitchen. Everything was clean and comfortable for the entire stay. Great bed for sleeping and everything felt super safe during this pandemic. We ordered food from the Bank Cafe at the hotel restaurant which was also super tasty and all of the staff for super friendly to us!

The jacuzzi was the perfect temperature and the outdoor firepits were a really great feature on the cool late Autumn nights. Just a great treat.

The location is perfect, you can walk over to the Oxbow Market or you can walk over to downtown Napa without having to actually be in the middle of everything.

The only thing I would say is the walls are a little thin. Nothing the hotel can do about that at this point. I also would suggest to the hotel that they wait to start the music in the courtyard by the pool until later in the morning. The earliest any music should happen is 10 a.m. because you can literally hear it in the room (we were in 2021). It's not super loud at all, but it is noticeable. If you are sensitive to sound, you would not want to be on the courtyard/pool side... especially when this pandemic is over and that gets back to being a crowded social scene.

All in all though...a great 4 days and we will definitely go back !

When we booked our stay all other good hotels were pretty much booked, so we ended up staying at the Westin. We got the Premium Suite with 1 bedroom.

The Good
The location is nice. It’s a bit secluded so you don’t get the loudness of the city center. It’s right next to the wine train (literally 30 steps away from it) and there is a nice park right next to it if you want to relax and take in the sun. It’s a quick walk to the city center (about 5 mins). The property is clean and well maintained from what we’ve seen.

The Bad
Obviously, hotels cost way more than they did so we understand today’s post-covid pricing, but honestly, for like $700/night it’s a tough one. There is no, I repeat NO room service. You can supposedly order things from the restaurant that’s in the hotel and then go pick them up yourself, but forget about late-night snack deliveries or early morning breakfast in bed.
Napa is also a fairly sleepy town so the only thing you’ll be able to order late at night is mcdonalds, taco bell or 7 eleven (we checked the food apps).
There was a full-on large fridge, stove, oven and microwave in our room, so it’s clearly more of an apartment setting than a hotel. Again, nothing terrible if you’re paying $300/n but at $700/n it just isn’t it.
The room was also quite hot and AC wasn't helping much which was weird.
We asked for a late checkout (asked for an additional hour) and were told it was impossible. Then we were told that it’s possible if we’re Marriott Bonvoy members and then told since we’re not we can’t stay. So it is possible and would’ve been just a nice, decent thing for them to do since we spent multiple nights at a larger room and they clearly weren’t booked full. It’s the little things that matter.

We were at this hotel primarily because of the Brian Culbertson Napa Jazz Festival. It was the perfect venue as the courtyard provided an excellent space for 2 hours of afternoon jazz and more than enough space for wineries to come to the hotel allowing the guests to sample their wines. The hotel is also within walking distance of Napa town centre. Room was spacious although where we were situated we had the constant hum of large (I believe air conditioning units). The bonus is the underground free car parking and a very nice pool. The only disappointment was a poor and expensive limited choice of food at lunchtime (our package with the Jazz Festival included a very average buffet breakfast) and as with so many hotel and restaurants there appeared to be a shortage of staff. There was also an issue with our final bill where we had been overcharged on our room rate and it only took the involvement of Te'Joni Williams, the very efficient Front Office Supervisor, to eventually resolve the issue. Overall though, it is a well situated modern hotel and well positioned for both Napa town centre and the many surrounding wineries.

We went for a few days for a vacation to enjoy wine country. The room was very fairly large, has a kitchenette and a couch that comes with a room with a king. We were able to walk to some downtown Napa restaurants without too much trouble (15-20 min walk depending on where they were). However, right now the breakfast doesn't seemed to be staffed up enough. We are platinum members and got free breakfast vouchers, but after waiting 40 min, just gave up (this was a Friday at about 8am). We just order Starbucks which is only a 8 min walk. The workout room is small. When about 5 people were there it already felt very full. One day I just worked out in my room, and the other I finally got space by the weights. The location outside is beautiful. Right now, the mask law is still in place indoors and everyone was very compliant - both guest and employees (except in the workout room) Hand sanitizer is at the elevator and other locations. They did clean the rooms at this location each day). Parking was available.

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years for quick weekend getaways or anniversaries. However, over the last couple of visits, we started noticing that the quality has diminished considerably. For example, on the last occasion, we were given a room where the room service tray was still at the door when we arrived. There were dirty stains on the curtains, and you could tell that the room was hastily cleaned. We brought it to the attention of the front desk, and they were nice enough to offer a voucher for our next stay. Unfortunately because of our negative experiences, we did not even take them up on staying there again.

It’s clear that because this location is a franchise, they haven’t invested in the upkeep or maintenance of the place so that it has become quite warn and outdated dated over the years. Unfortunately, the quality is more akin to a low to mid range Sheraton , and certainly not a Westin in the Napa Valley.

Currently writing this review from the balcony of our 3rd floor king bedroom suite with separate living room and kitchen. Everything about our stay at the Westin Napa has been perfect. From the valet staff, check in, to Royce-Anne at the concierge desk everyone has been so kind.

My fiancé has Titanium status with Marriott Bonvoy and the hotel was fantastic about recognizing the status with a 2 category room upgrade + breakfast. The Westin is a very short walk to loads of tasting rooms and restaurants eliminating the need to drive.

Overall we both can’t wait to come back.

They offer a free continental breakfast geared specifically for Platinum Elites and higher OR you can apply the credit ($10 per guest I think?) to other breakfast choices and pay the difference.
