Settled conveniently in downtown Napa, a walk away from restaurants, bars, and Oxbow Market. I used the valet parking as a Hyatt Globalist and was extremely convenient. Rooms were comfortable and modern, just note you are in downtown so there is a slight city feel to the property in terms of noise. Special thanks to our valet Andrew who helped us move things up to the room and treated us very well - along with the rest of the staff. On par with the rest of Hyatt's Andaz brand.

Hotel's Favourite
We recently had a great stay at the Hyatt Andaz in Napa. The hotel was located right downtown and provided a great location for walking around town for food and drinks. We utilized car service for tasting throughout the valley. We will certainly stay at the Andaz again!

Beautiful, warm hotel in the heart of downtown Napa. Perfectly located with exceptional and welcoming staff. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable. If you are looking to stay in downtown there isn't a better choice. Well staffed with excellent restaurants.

Overall the hotel was decent. Rooms were nice and clean, but the facilities were really lacking. For a 4 star hotel to not have a pool/ spa or gym seems silly to me. Also, lacked in some maintenance items as well. Toilet paper rack was coming off the wall, and the wand showerhead didn't work very well.

Loved staying at the Andaz hotel. The live music at night was awesome and the bar was a great spot to unwind after a day of wine tasting. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here at Andaz. Super close to multiple dining options and places to hang out. Loved it all!

A cozy hotel with a great central location close to restaurants and points of interest. Good room, clean and very friendly service. We received an aluminum water bottle for each guest - and it is possible to refill your bottle with filtered water in a machine on each floor of the property. Breakfast with good options in a modern and nice restaurant. There is also a terrace/lounge and a bar at the lobby with live music sometimes. My congratulations to Leilei's smile and courtesy - ingredients that cannot be missing in customer service. I highly recommend Andaz for anyone going on an adventure to Napa Valley.

We had a lovely stay at the Andaz Napa to celebrate my wife’s birthday. as a Hyatt Globalist, they upgraded us to a beautiful and spacious suite and the general manager, Eric Fink, arranged a welcome gift for us upon our arrival, which was above and beyond our expectations! We will definitely be back again soon.

From a 50+ year old woman: 1. Pros of the Hotel: a. Location: Excellent location from downtown Napa. Walking distance to the center of everything! It is located on 1st First Street, although, it is a little further away from main street of Napa. Google it, you will know what I mean. b. Advertisement: I liked advertisement of all the restaurants on the hotel TV channel that were located within the vicinity of hotel. I mean, we literally just walked out of the hotel, and boom, there was the pizza restaurant we wanted to try. And it was pretty good. c. Restaurant: Loved, loved, the restaurant located in the hotel. Breakfast was very good and the ambiance of the look of the restaurant was very nice, such as the very comfy leather chairs that we were seated in and the warmth of the large fireplace not too far from us, and the beautiful bamboo displayed on the exterior windows. Too bad that your clients didn’t enjoy it as much as trying everything else around the hotel. Sometimes, the best meals are right in the hotel you are staying at. d. New Year’s: Loved that the bar was still open far after midnight even during the News Years! We went to a concert at the Blue Note Napa Theater and the bar at the Archer Hotel was already closed at 12:30 AM (We were trying to catch a glimpse of Brian Culbertson, since we know that he and his crew always stays there)! Not cool! Some of us still wanted to hang out and chill and it was nice that our hotel bar was full of lively young and older patrons when we got back from the concert for another glass of wine! e. Entry of Hotel: I liked the interior of the hotel. It had a warm, dark, woody interior that was inviting. It was wonderful that check in gave refillable water bottles and almonds for being a Hyatt customer, Kudos! But there are things that could be improved upon, I will list them in the Cons. 2. Cons of the Hotel: If you are trying to compare between staying at the Archer Hotel and the Andaz Hotel, the Andaz is definitely not it! Basically, the Archer is a 5 star while Andaz is just your average 4 star hotel. And it can get confusing between the names – and I think it was intentional! I booked at the Andaz thinking I was booking at the Archer Hotel! Never again! a. Valet: Day before New Year’s, it was pouring raining and there were 1 or 2 employees working the valet at around 4-5 PM – and it was busy! Wow! We accidently tried to check in at the Archer Hotel (my mistake!) and they had 5-7 employees working the valet! Not at the Andaz! There was 1 there at the time! The second valet person (when he finally showed up) gave me the luggage cart and left me on my own! I lugged up the cart with our luggage to the second floor and housekeeping helped me maneuver it into the room while my husband parked our car in their garage. I left the cart in the hallway (I wasn’t going to bother to call them since they didn’t seem to have the help anyways). I’m so glad we didn’t use the valet parking as we’ve would’ve been there waiting an hour in the rain in our car! Also, the day of check out when the sun came out, they finally remembered to put umbrellas for their clients! Where were they when it was raining the last two (2) days?! b. Room (230): We had a corner junior suite with a nice sunken tub. The bed is comfortable! Everything was in great order, except for the nearly empty body wash bottle, but that’s okay. I had brought my own just in case. Just so you know, you must bring your own lotion! That is not included with the toiletries! The room was separated by living area and bedroom. Great area for single coffee maker, drinks, and nice small refrigerator. Two (2) TVs is overkill in there. The bedroom should’ve had an electrical fireplace. There’s plenty of room on that wall – I should know, we just installed one in our own bedroom. The receptionist did say that none of their junior suites had a fireplace. My fault for not checking on the Hyatt’s website. But you only need one (1 )TV and in the living room is just fine. The coffee table was completely worn out, it should’ve been replaced a long time ago. c. Hotel Entrance: It is woody (you should consider adding a subtle woody scent at the entrance like fresh balsam) and inviting look – but it is also small and could be more warm (I mean, it was cold in the entrance area!). There’s not a lot of places to sit to be comfortable unless you want to be by the door that swings open and closed, letting in cold air! It is not the high class look of the Archer Hotel (which you walk down a long hallway before you get to seating areas; and yes, I’m comparing!). d. Hotel Hallways: Where the elevators and hallways meet, don’t store those ugly blue service carts at your elevators (and that’s what your clients see when the doors open) and please at least vacuum the hallways! Also, the hallway carpets are wearing out, needs an upgrade. e. Room Service: Doesn’t exist! Disappointing! Even the Hilton Hotels still offer this! This is not a business hotel – you are trying to compete with other full bed and bath Inns (not to mention other hotels) that always offer room or personalized service – go above and beyond! A full room service should always be offered, I don’t care how many restaurants exist around it. They are not all that great – having been to Napa quite a few times.
