Truly enjoyed the hospitality, food and beverage offerings of this hotel. Super clean rooms and nice amenities for the family. Breakfast even has hit maple syrup and a great staff. Will not disappoint!
This hotel is a wonderful snap shot of pure tranquility. The grounds are so beautiful! Everything we needed was on location. Restaurant, bar with great wine selections, outdoor and indoor dining, pool. Did I mention the garden areas are amazing?!?! Sean that works in the restaurant/bar area is very friendly and wonderful at making guest feel at home. We will be back to enjoy this oasis again!!
Hands down best hotel experience start to finish! They have great customer service at their restaurant bar by the indoor pool and have a happy hour from 5-7pm which was hosted by Fran during our stay!! He is sooooo friendly, inviting, accommodating, spot on with his drinks, and overall just great. My family was very happy with his service and worth every tip. Great hotel with pretty plants to check out and a pond of water with a beautiful swan and ducks surrounding, pool is open until 12pm, drinks and food are a decent price (restaurant doesn’t open until 3pm). 5 out 5!
costs $20 to park the car, and parking is uncovered. The overcrowded evening "reception" is in an unheated atrium, everybody has to wear coats because it was so cold. The food is scarfed up by the rude guests within 1 minute of being placed, like vultures!! Hotel staff cannot keep up with the demand. Long line for the "free" drinks. No one wearing masks or obeying social distancing guidelines. Breakfast is also crowded, but if you go when they open at 6 AM at least there is SOME food. The cooks at the omelet and pancake station are good and fast. Visited as a Hilton Honors DIAMOND status, no upgrade to higher status suite. Room was not heated when we arrived, but at least the front desk let us borrow a USB charger--the property is so old there are no USB outlets in the rooms themselves. There was weird rust stains on the bathroom ceiling, and the fixtures in the bathroom did not match (some had been replaced, others not)…
I had a great experience with my stay. The front desk staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast staffs were on top of things. The chef was busting her butt off trying to keep the line moving. Other staffs were making sure vacated tables were clean and ready for the next person. Spacious room and clean upon arrival. Will definitely come back.
Really a nice, picturesque facility, and they have a happy hour between 5 & 7, where drinks and snacks are FREE. Would have given this 205-room facility (built 35 years ago) a 4.4 hinge rating (scale of 0 – 5), BUT because the room (a suite) had NO HEAT (was at 64F when we arrived), we are giving it a 2.8 hinge rating. I suspect the heating & cooling system is hydronic and the pipes that run to all the room are either filled with hot OR cold water. Yes, this place is more like a upscale national park setting, but us wimps from Wisconsin are more attuned to HEAT when it is cold outside. They eventually shifted over the system at 8 PM, so we did have heat. When we asked WHY, the front desk noted the resort is an OLD facility design and the equipment for heating or cooling can not handle a mixed temp request for all the rooms!!!!!!!!!!! Again = would not really using this facility on a return trip unless it was an all cooling or all heating season (Wisconsin Wimp)!! Dinner at the hotel was OK, although a little cool room environment.…
Stayed during Christmas 2023, staff is very friendly, David, Kristy helped us to find places to go around on Christmas day, staff nice breakfast and very good ambience I will stay again and recommend for others
I would like to say thank you for your amazing staff that made our stay extra special. Crystal from the front desk who was very welcoming. Nathan who was very attentive to the guests. He has an amazing personality and with the live band Journey, it made our dinner experience unforgettable. Franc made us delicious drinks and Miguel who made awesome breakfasts every morning. Thank you all and we wish you all a happy holidays!!!!
This is a lovely property with delightful staff. Typical Embassy Suite breakfast offerings with stellar short order cooks:) The only downside was that the walls were so thin in our suite that we could easily hear our neighbors. We were in a pool view suite #302. Bring earplugs.
We visit Napa about once a year and we look forward to seeing Fran each time! Fran is by far the best - he couldn’t be more welcoming and always goes above and beyond. If he is involved in your visit, no doubt you will have a great experience!
