Location: halfway between Napa downtown and Yountville, so around 10 min drive each way. Parking space was plentiful. There was a park behind the hotel, good for walking your dog. Room: light fixtures were way too dark, and when your windows open onto the jacuzzi on the ground floor, means closed window shutters all 24H. The two queen beds and pillows were comfortable. The working desk and WiFi was fine. Bathroom was small and poorly ventilated, thus damp. Aircon was pretty loud. Staff were corteous. A la carte breakfast was good and around 15 USD pp, so won't break the bank.

It has been awhile since i have reviewed a hotel , but this place definitely deserves one. I am in the process of relocating to the Napa area for a wonderful Employment opportunity. Since the middle of June I have spent several weeks and nights at the property in every type of room available and on everyday of the week. Let me just start by saying that this Hotel is extremely inconsistent in just about every aspect possible. I have stayed in about 7 different rooms throughout this average size property. Every single shower in every room I have stayed in is set up in a different way. Most of the rooms have sliding glass doors that fully enclose the shower . In the majority of the rooms the sliding glass door is installed backwards forcing you to step into the shower to turn on the water . There are also nice secondary hand held shower heads installed for taking a nice shower. Seems like a nice amenity except for the fact that in almost every shower i have been sprayed with water turning on the shower because the maids forget for get to reset them back to the over head shower head . Do not stay in room 139 !! It is definitely the worst room in the entire hotel because it is right next to the laundry and maids room . They leave the door open to it all day which blocks about half the entry for room 139. Hearing an industrial washing machine going at 7 in the morning after spending more than $250 per night just doesn’t really sit well with me. Anyone staying in that room should just be given a lower rate because of all the inconvenience caused by the maids room. The best room in the entire hotel is room 205 . This room is a suite and is about double the size of the other room choices. The best part of 205 is the huge balcony . It is the only room in property that has this amenity . After coming in for a late check in after work on a Sunday the Graveyard Shift Guest Service employee was kind enough to hook me up with the room at a much lower rate. I was extremely grateful for the deal as it was the highlight in all my weeks staying at the property. Moving forward with the inconsistency theme in my review is the room rates . I use several different third party websites to book my stays. understand that the rates are going to fluctuate depending on factors like occupancy and dates booked . I believe for three nights in June during the weekend the final bill came out to be about $1000 . The room was actually a handicap accessible room which i realized later because the shower had no door just a fold out plastic bench . There was not even a shelf to put the shower toiletries on . In room 150 The safe was locked and not useable . The TVs in each room vary from being a very noticeable older Flat Screen to Rooms with newer ones. The pool and spa can only be accessed by going to the front desk asking guest services to open the entry gate for you . If a guest is paying thousands of dollars to stay at the hotel that advertises these amenities ; why do i need to ask permission for access for something included with my stay? On about five occasions the printer was not working at the front desk when i needed to get an invoice. The guest service employees said they would email me an invoice which i did not receive . I called five times in one day about requiring an invoice being emailed to make sure they sent it and it still did not get done. After the next couple of stays i told the front desk upon check out “I will stand here until you print me a copy of my receipt” . This recently happened again when i was checking out but i was in such a rush to get to work i forgot to ask for an invoice. Once again after four phone calls i was finally emailed an invoice. Do yourself (or family) the biggest favor and consider staying at their Sister property The Napa Winery Inn. It is right down the street the rooms are nicer it is quieter and has nearly all the same amenities. It was recently remodeled and the rooms are beautiful and brand new. Almost every other hotel i have stayed at in the Napa area for the past six weeks is a better value with better customer service.

This place is a crusty joke and IHG needs to seriously consider removing this property from their chain. IHG markets all Indigos as a boutique hotel, a step up from Holiday Inn in the IHG portfolio. This was worse than any Holiday Inn I've stayed. The whole place is in disrepair. You can tell this was once a budget hotel that got a crappy renovation 10 years ago and slapped an Inidigo brand on it. -The first thing I noticed was the smell. The halls reeked of a combination of old permafried marijuana and must. -The bed was squeaky. -I woke up at 2AM to a thoroughly irritating buzz. It was the refrigerator that wasn't even cold. Not like a compressor kicking on sound, but a giant mosquito in your ear buzzing. Quickly unplugged it. -You can hear everything in this hotel, every door opening and closing. Anyone talking. -The sink didn't drain at all. Be prepared to brush your teeth in the dirty shower. -Everything is dark and dim. Zero lighting in the whole place. -The breakfast is buffet quality that should be free, but they definitely charge you. I saw some of the cash rates around $250 a night and imagine they could get higher on busy weekends. Luckily I used an IHG free night cert on this one night stay. I would run from this place.

The hotel was nicely maintained but very small. Our first floor king room had a view of parking lot( only other view is the pool). The room was nice but very dim lighting in room and bathroom, no hand towel rack, and the bathroom with shower only was very small. The ala carte breakfast was very good.

Check-in and stay seemed nice enough, until things took a turn for the worst. I was staying for a week on business and had a corporate card on file. I put down my personal card strictly for incidentals. About 3 days through my stay, I noticed multiple $200+ charges appearing on my card and brought it to the attention of hotel staff. I also requested my room to be cleaned and serviced. Was told the charges were “weird” and the employee didn’t know why they were happening. I was assured they “were pending” and would disappear and no more would appear. The next day, there were more charges. Also was told my room couldn’t be serviced bc the housekeeping already had their schedule for the day, but they would drop off new sheets and towels. They never did. I spoke again with staff about the charges. Sure enough, they charged the incorrect card. After calling and asking both charges on my account (one $1100 charge and one $500 charge) be removed, the larger charge was removed but was told “they couldn’t see the $500 one so they couldn’t credit it.” Honestly, this is inexcusable. I brought the concern multiple times, only to have staff who were completely untrained on how to resolve never fix the problem. Still fighting to get all my money back by disputing the charge with the bank. Was not offered anything other than “that’s weird, I apologize” from management. Safe to say, a horrible all around experience— coming from myself, who is a manager in the hospital industry. I prefer to speak with management first, and avoid writing reviews, but unfortunately in this case other guests should be warned. Management had the opportunity to recover my experience multiple times and did not.
