We are Marriott Lifetime Titanium Elite. We are also Marriott Vacation Club owners for 10+ years. We’ve stayed at Marriott all over the world, first time here in Napa. We came to Napa in January because it’s quiet, the slowest month here in the valley. There is light traffic, no crowds at the wineries or restaurants, and as a result we received excellent service everywhere. This Marriott is impeccably clean, well run and in a great location. The room was serviced promptly and expertly every day, the concierge lounge is well staffed and serviced. The complimentary breakfast and dinner service was tasty, not a full buffet but what they offered was just right. Every evening in the lobby you will find a complimentary wine tasting offered by various smaller vintners in the region. We will be sure to stay here again on a return visit.

Great location right off the main highway, ideal base for trips to the wineries and towns in the valley but not too far from downtown Napa. The building layout looks reminiscent of an old roadside motel but everything inside and out has been totally renovated. The grounds are well-kept and the on-site restaurant was very good, especially when sitting out on the patio. The pool seems undersized, we went around noon on a Thursday and there were already not enough chairs, we didn't even attempt to look on the weekend. While there were signs that said masks were required indoors (as of Memorial Day 2021). nobody seemed to be enforcing those rules.

The rooms were comfortable and a good size. We had a Garden-view King on the ground floor. I liked that our room (1008) had a patio that was almost totally private and not facing the open lawn like most of them. The one feature I don't like, but is becoming common in modern hotels, is the "barn door" into the bathroom. These doors don't lock or even close all the way so it is awkward when you're sharing a room with somebody.

Good solid property, but not really a resort? This felt like a nicely renovated courtyard property, the rooms are really nice and spacious and were in good condition and clean. The water pressure in the shower was horrible and we had the fun of getting ice cold water every 15sec. We also didn't get room refreshing, which I hoped would be done nowadays. Also, please get decent sized shower towels, those small tiny strips are not covering a regular body comfortably.

The pool was smaller for a supposed resort and the $20 resort fee didn't do a lot for us. I would suggest adding a cup of coffee, 1 free soda, snacks or something better and more useful to the fee.

I would go again, but maybe not at the price we paid, since I did expect a lot more.

Overall, this hotel is actually a Courtyard Marriott masquerading as a "real" Marriott hotel. The staff are inattentive and not very helpful; there was no recognition of my Titanium Status at check-in, no welcome to the property, and there was some type of system glitch with my combo points+prepay rate which took three people thirty minutes to figure out.

Lack of cleanliness and poor state of repair was noted just about everywhere. Cobwebs on every single window you look out of, our room was affectionately referred to as a "cave" as it was so dark with very poor lighting. The lampshade was incredibly dusty and broken, pillows were old and very lumpy. Bird were continually flying into the soffit area near our window, concerning that they were so comfortable in doing so as pest management should be reviewed by the hotels pest control provider.

Housekeeping and location were probably the only two highlights of this hotel. The housekeeping staff were so incredibly nice and pleasant, and also very expeditious in any request we had which was great. And the location of the hotel is incredibly convenient to downtown Napa and several wineries along the St Helena Highway.

At the end of the day, if you are fine paying for a Category 4 hotel which is rated as Category 7, then you'll be fine. But the hotel is in desperate need of an overhaul and the staff need a re-training in hospitality management. Oh, and lastly the $20/day resort fee is a joke, adds insult to injury at the end of a rough stay for our first travels since the pandemic.

This hotel has it all. Let me start by saying how amazing Blossom is at the front desk. She is so attentive and always makes sure to make you feel like a VIP.

The hotel has such comfortable bed and spacious rooms.

The fire pits and pool area are awesome amenities. The bikes are part of the amenity fees and are usually always available. This hotel is so awesome because it’s in a great location and accessible to many wineries.

Thanks again Blossom

We stayed here for several nights while visiting Napa vineyards. Prices at this place are rather high and it’s somewhat dated, but comfortable. The property has a nice looking pool, which I briefly used once on this stay. They have an “M Club” here for those with elite status, which we enjoyed breakfast in every morning. The staff in the M Club was attentive and the food was some of the best I’ve had at any Marriott concierge club. It’s also stocked with free water and sodas, as well as a wine dispenser to purchase wine by the ounce.

Housekeeping did a nice job keeping our room refreshed daily, we always came back to a nicely made-up room and the bathroom was cleaned too. Water pressure in our bathroom was “just OK’ and the shower drained perfectly. The TV in the room worked great, but the channel selection wasn’t very robust.

The common areas are nice, with fire pits, outdoor and indoor seating and a couple restaurants on the property. There’s definitely plenty for ADULTS to do… please don’t bring kids, it doesn’t seem very kid-friendly, so I imagine they’d be bored. The pool is a great congregation place for adults and nice size for laps, but doesn’t have kid-friendly “stuff” there. There is a small play area outdoors, with some odd versions of cornhole.

Overall, the stay was comfy and we felt safe here. We’d stay here again, if the prices were lower than this time, these prices were way too high.

je1058, I am happy to see you enjoyed your time here and certainly understand your value for price concerns. The blunt reality is that we are priced like the rest of the market and unfortunately this area is up to it's highest level ever due to the cost of living in the area. The staff we hire have to make significantly more to live in the area, and also prices of groceries and things has caused prices to surge. Lastly, the demand for hotel rooms is high caused up by pent up demand for people who have not traveled for some time due to the pandemic. I imagine that piece is going to slow down and prices will follow the demand, but the inflation is the real issue here. I hope that helps you understand and again, thank you for the kind words about our hotel and staff.

We had an opportunity to spend two nights at the Marriott with our teenage daughters, and it was a lovely stay. Live music one night out on the patio, a variety of beautiful hammocks among the Sequoias for relaxation, and the pool in the evening was especially beautiful. There is an on-site restaurant that serves excellent food (breakfast burrito was amazing) and were VERY accommodating of my daughter’s severe dairy allergy. My husband and I enjoyed drinks at the bar one evening, which was hopping and fun. Complimentary wine was served as were s’mores in the evening of for guests. You can rent bikes on site and ride all over Napa which we enjoyed immensely. The staff! Staff were friendly, seemed to genuinely enjoy interacting with their guests and team work was apparent. We spent 2 weeks traveling through Northern California and this was by far our favorite hotel experience. The management of this Marriott location has done an incredible job making this a memorable experience for their guests. We highly recommend making this Marriott part of your traveling experience!

Nice looking Marriott but severely understaffed. The current staff is also very rude. They can't do room service and only have restaurant service for limited hours during the day. For $350 a night and a four star hotel you would expect full hotel service. If you don't have the staff to provide proper service, why advertise as a four star hotel charging $350/night? When traveling from out of town it is expected to eat at unusual hours on the arrival date (e.g. 3pm).

I'm a Gold Marriott Bonvoy member seriously considering moving my business elsewhere due to the very subpar service at this hotel.

Dear Alejandro, I think I already responded on another site you posted to, but again I am sorry you felt you didn't receive the service you expected. Our Room Service is not offered because people are still questioning the safety of having it brought to their rooms (both staff and guests). I think this is reduced enough now where we can look at offering this service in November. As for the restaurant hours we are open 7 days a week for all meal periods. The only hours we are closed is from 2-5pm, which is typically very quiet. We offer snacks in our gift shop to accommodate for this, but this is nothing new to the. operation. I hope you choose to stay with us again, as we have some exciting upgrades coming this Spring. All the best,

Booked based on the location but was never told that there was a staffing shortage and thus no rooms would be serviced (until check in). I’ve never stayed at a hotel that didn’t have the room serviced and cleaned every day. No new towels were given to us unless we specifically called and requested them. Came back to the unmade bed I left. At this point we should have stayed in an Airbnb. I can’t believe this cost $300 a night. Do not stay here.

Terribly disappointed. This is a property in dire need of a remodel and refresher in the art of hospitality. It's an old facility with a small bar, very limited menu and a charmless restaurant.

When checking in we were told there would be no housekeeping service during our three-day stay and we'd need to come and get our fresh towels and supplies. Pretty disappointing when you're paying $500 plus per night.

Then, on our first morning we couldn't get the shower water valve to turn off. We called the front desk who said they would send a maintenance guy over to fix it. After an hour and a half, no repair guy and no call. Thankfully, the water hadn't breached the drain and damaged the room below. We called back but no one seemed to remember our previous call.

There are a lot of choices in Napa. Stay ANYWHERE but here.
