Me and my wife rented one room for couple of nights. I really liked the rooms and they also let us use the barque. Its really nice and quite place to stay. All the restaurants are near and the downtown is also near the motel.

Looks cute from the road but our room was very run down and smelled HORRIBLE! We tried to open a couple windows and they were all bolted down except for one in the bathroom that had no screen. Then tried to turn on the AC unit in the front window to see if it would help with the smell, it...

I had checked on TripAdvisor before booking a room and opinions seems to be either very positive or very negative, not much in between. Now I must say I wish I had listened more to the negative comments. The motel is old and in bad need of maintenance. Our room – one of the last ones on the side where...

This is the worst hotel I've stayed at in years. We had a cabin. It was clean enough, thank goodness. But the blinds and curtains were broken, jury-rigged stuff everywhere-including a strange little room with a whiteboard and eraser and not much else. But the terrible service was, well, the worst. The guy at the desk told me to put...

The Nevada City Inn is in a perfect location, surrounded by serene trees and just minutes from the heart of the town. The rooms are cozy, clean, quiet, and the best deal one can find in the area. But the thing that really makes this place stand out is the manager Mukesh, who provides excellent customer service... the people make...

Manager was friendly and very accommodating, he helped me out a lot on a cold rainy night. The location is ideal for exploring Nevada City and the area. Nevada City Inn is the perfect launchng pad for Gold Country exploration.

The people that run this Inn are great and do whatever it takes. I have been many places to stay and this place is very good. The place is clean and affordable. The place is a little old. My only criticize is i wished they had more electrical outlets for my needs. However they are adequate and I made every...

Fantastic and inexpensive. Right between Grass Valley and Nevada City. Close to everywhere you want to be, but without all the noise. (Practically stationed in the woods.) The service is friendly and accomodating. Everything I'd hope for in a family owned hotel.

Last-of-a-breed mom-and-pop motel. Proud inn keepers, and they keep this place clean and maintained well enough. I've been staying here for years. It is very affordable, clean and quiet. Now, it's not a Holiday Inn, but i've given them enough money. If you want to feel like your staying in a friend's guest room, this is the place. You will...

The front desk and other employees were extremely kind in accommodating us, the cabins are spacious, clean, and nice. Definitely a great value for the money. The antique feel really suits Nevada City, and the rooms are cozy and quiet. I'd recommend going for the cabins if you're really looking for a nice place, but if you just need somewhere...
