After the dated Hyatt at Hungtington Beach we were relieved to see the Marriott had undergone a refurb and the room was modern and fresh.

The location was awesome with restaurants and shopping across the street. The hotel itself is top notch with great room, fitness, pool, restaurant, and knowledgable staff with answers to all our inquiries!!! Beautiful facility!

Loved the beautiful landscaping and pools/jacuzzis. Room was nice but could've used more towels. Awesome views from our room. Parking was ok but a little expensive. The breakfast buffet was pricey for adults but a bargain for kids.

The Newport Beach Marriott is an older smaller hotel and is quirky given the layout of the property. I would say the Laguna Cliffs has a more contemporary feel and is newer. The Laguna Marriott is also bigger.
