My husband and I spent a night in the Wild Wild West Caboose for our anniversary. It was really fun and we had a great time! Our flight was delayed getting in to Oakland, so we didn't have much time to see the lake or the surrounding area, so I'll focus only on the B&B itself. Finding the place, and...

Everything about the place is amazing. Cute rooms, friendly staff, great location. I've stayed in 5 rooms, a couple more than once and I love them all. Great for that lovers getaway or to find that spark again. Love you guys! J.McClellan

The outside is amazing. Really cute with all the cabooses lined up, lots of trees and a view of the lake. Tony and Peggy who run the place are very nice and helpful but need some direction in the cleaning department. Our room was very tired looking and not too clean. There is a two person jetted tub but not...

First of all, thank you for your stay with us. Since vacation time is so precious we try to make sure to have all our ducks in a row and provide the best experience possible. But as your review says, we dropped the ball. In training a new team member we realized that our ability to train a new person...

We had one of the best weekend getaways!!! We stayed in the Easy Rider Caboose. We loved it from the moment we opened the door. The featherbed was great and the sheets were so soft. I slept like a baby. The big tub was great too. The easy chair was great for relaxing. I loved that we could climb up...

We stayed in Celebrations, which is suppose to be the haunted caboose,( my husband's idea). Lucky for me I didn't see any ghost, but the radio did turn on by itself when I was in the room alone praying. Other then that one event I had a wonderful time. Tony had some wonderful suggestions of things to do and places...

This was a late Valentines day celebration for my husband and I. My husband loves trains and motorcycles so it doesn't get much better then to stay in a Harley Davidson themed caboose. The caboose was AMAZING, very clean, comfy with a full size Jacuzzi for 2. Situated across the street from clear lake in the trees was another bonus....

We revisited Featherbed for a magical winter weekend before Christmas to get some last minute wedding planning done in peace. We enjoyed two spectacular breakfasts (local red walnut and pear French toast prepared by Tony and then Peggy's legendary quiche) and made use of the comfy couch in the "station" to research some ideas for our nuptials via the good...

Must agree with the last review very dirty inside and out ie. windows with bird poo, dead bugs on window sills especially on upper level. Lots of dust and cob webs. Outside of train cars need washing lots of bird poo and it is not recent. Bar counter sticky. Musty smell. Needs to shut down and clean the place.

Loved the idea of staying in a caboose. It was a themed birthday for my husband. For 250 a night I expected WAY more. The room was in order but very dirty. The rugs by the bed had leaves on them, there was hair in the jacuzzi drain, and I'm not talking just a little, it was a lot, how...

We looked so forward to staying here, but accommodations were tired and dirty. Hand towels/washcloths weren't fresh and dusty. Rail car was neat but extremely dusty. It was liked cool old rail cars parked in a trailer park. Pool was nice but couldn't get a pool towel. Asked owner/manager who was in the pool, he left to get them and...

Greetings and thank you for your honest review. Clearly based on your one-star reviews we won't have the privilege of your return, unfortunately. Thinking about your feelings on breakfast, we're going to add your thoughts to our collection on the mushroom casserole that we've recently put into the rotation to see how people like it - will it stay long-term...
