My daughter and I was booked at another hotel/motel by another party. The place was not nice and we needed to find another hotel on very short notice. Luckily I did a search and the Best Western had rooms available. We were able to book a two bedroom suite. It was perfect for what we needed. It was spacious. The room was nice and looks aesthetically pleasing. The colors throughout the hotel are blue and gray. The room was clean and had two patios. The two bathrooms were spacious. The room had a refrigerator and a microwave. This was very convenient. Our room was right next to the gym. I did use the gym during our stay and it served its purpose. There were two treadmills, an elliptical, weights, a peloton and exercise bike. The hotel also offered breakfast daily which was nice. They also have a coffee machine with tea and hot chocolate that is always available. The staff was lovely and always accommodating. I would stay again. Also when I searched for hotels there were not many in Novato. This was perfect for what we needed.

I give this hotel 4 stars because it was overall a good value. The staff accommodated our early check-in request and were very helpful and friendly. We got a nice room at a very reasonable price at a time when there was high-demand due to July 4th week/weekend (which meant they had multiple wedding parties staying there, plus the big July 4th event was happening nearby at the Marin Civic Center). I would have considered giving this hotel 5 stars, but the breakfast situation did not work for us. There was enough seating, but the serving area is rather small and crammed into a corner which made it tough to get food when it gets busy. Also, the only egg options were milk-based scrambled egg products, which I can't eat due to milk allergies. So we ate elsewhere all but one morning of our stay. On the bright side, the staff were terrific and the room was very comfortable and laid out nicely, and the property is well maintained.

We had a wonderful experience at the BW Novato Oaks Inn. The front desk staff came to open the doors for us and greeted us with warm chocolate chip cookies and bottled water. The rooms were clean and comfortable as expected, but it is the staff at Novato Oaks Inn that always make our stay exceptional. From the breakfast staff to the maid service, everyone is happy and friendly and determined to do their part to make everyone's stay pleasant. You can tell the staff lakes pride in their work and are dedicated to customer service. It is a joy staying at this hotel. I highly recommend it.

During our recent trip to North CA, we stayed for a couple of nights at the BW+. Having visited the area three times this year and stayed at different hotels, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. The rooms were spacious and the view was stunning, but what really stood out was the hospitality and friendliness of the staff. Additionally, the hotel was extremely clean and well-maintained. If we ever visit the area again, we will definitely choose to stay here.

The best aspects of the facility are its pet policy and its proximity to downtown Novato and highway 101. The units are in the midst of a renovation, but our room was comfortable and quiet. The inn backs up to a large pasture with Angus cows and their calves, and there were several wild turkey Toms displaying and calling in the mornings while we were there. The complementary breakfast is very limited, no doubt due to the fact that the breakfast room was undergoing renovation. The staff were all pleasant and helpful, and the pet fee was reasonable. All in all this was a decent and affordable place for our stay.

We loved our stay from the minute we walked into the lobby. We were greeted immediately and the staff were very friendly. I booked a King room and we were on the third floor and had a balcony which was a treat. The room was very spacious and clean. The bath products smelled fantastic - they use a brand called Pharmacopia in Citrus scent. It was quiet in our wing but honestly the whole hotel seemed pretty quiet. They do have a quiet hours policy. The breakfast was plentiful - eggs/meat, waffles, cereal, juice, fruit. There is a restaurant adjacent that opens for brunch/lunch/dinner but we didn't go for brunch. There is a Burger King across the street. Pool & Spa were clean and ready. There is a little book nook in the lobby with books and seating. Warm cookies are served at the desk each night at 7:00 pm. The hotel is right off the freeway and is easy to get back on the freeway. There is a Safeway store a few exits up near a small strip mall.

I have returned to stay at this hotel a couple times whenever we travel around the area. This time we stayed for 4 nights – 3rd floor room 4301. The location of the room was not very far from the elevator & the ice machine. This worked for me with my mobility issues. The hotel was not full during this time so we did not hear any noises. When I checked in, the acknowledgement of my member status from the front desk lady made me felt special and appreciated. On my first night, I was cold and not used to the thin sheets used by the hotel. Next day, I texted the front desk. Kim and Sarah were very helpful - trying to get me a thick blanket and a chair to sit in the shower as I am a handicap. With the thick blanket, I was able to keep myself warm with better sleep on the following nights. Breakfast choices were limited and repeated. It became boring for stays that are longer than one night. The coffee and waffle were the ones that we enjoyed most. Good quality compared to other hotels. The attendant cleared and kept the tables cleaned as soon as the guests left. Food was refilled and kept full all the times. My husband told me that he discovered there was a machine that make cappuccino without sugar at the front desk. He was so happy. This hotel met my needs (i.e. good base location, consistent quality services, clean and modern facilities...). Overall, I recommend this hotel and this is marked as one of our top choices.

We stayed here for 1 night after visiting Muir Woods. Location is conveniently off highway 101 and property is well maintained and safe. We enjoyed the nice pool & hot tub, and the ping pong table was a fun bonus! The room is spacious and very nicely decorated, exactly as shown on their website. The Perry’s Novato restaurant just next door from the hotel served very good American cuisine, is super convenient and price was reasonable. The hotel served a complimentary breakfast with hot items like eggs, sausage and bacon, and they also had a no-touch pancake maker which was very entertaining to watch. There were many choices in cereal, yogurt, fruit, breads and pastries as well. We had a very pleasant experience at this hotel and would definitely stay here again in future.

Cons: A giant roach in my room and the musty smell from the air conditioner. The front desk person I notified upon check out (the roach didn't appear until then) said he'd let the manager know and printed out my receipt which for that experience felt very overpriced. I have not heard anything from the manager. Pro: Bed was comfortable. Room felt clean until the roach. Breakfast had gluten free options, which I appreciate.
