It's about a one-mile drive (2 minutes) to the center of town and restaurants, straight down hwy 41. A plus is that most shops and restaurants are close together. Some are on hwy 49 which intersects hwy 41. For gourmet health food and delicious craft beer and root beer, check out South Gate Brewing Co on hwy 49. If you like Chinese, there's an excellent China Delight on hwy 41 is excellent.
