It is the most beautiful, elegant property with superb staff just waiting to be helpful. Our room was wonderful and the bedding out of this world. We loved every minute of our stay. Difficult to believe were not at a chateau in Europe.

I was amazed in finding this lovely chateaux by chance, as I was searching on the internet for fine accommodations in the Yosemite area, to celebrate our 36th anniversary. Last April, my husband and I were in the Provence region and stayed at Villa Gallici in Aix-en-Provence, another Relais & Chateaux property and we fell in love with the elegance...

It's a gem of a hotel, a place to celebrate, unwind and be treated like royalty. The staff, ambience of the chateau is a taste of Europe set in a rural area. It's a long drive from Los Angeles but if you need a special place to be , come here. The room had great touches from the wall hangings,...

A hidden gem where you enter a Cinderella dream. The hotel, garden and restaurant have been treated with such care for details. It is a wonderful place with so much unique charm and personality. The service and breakfast on the terrace was fantastic too.

My wife and I spent four memorable days celebrating our wedding anniversary staying at Chateau du Sureau and dining at Erna's Elderberry House Restaurant. The lodging is exceptional with all of the rooms and the common areas featuring old world European artwork, furniture and decor. Clearly Erna has spent a great deal of time and effort seeing to it that...

As we pulled in for our stay, one of the staff came down the steps to great us at our car. There were many touches like this that made our stay memorable. The restaurant is very good, but the full tasting menu with wine pairings is too expensive for the meal's quality. Our room was beautiful. You can tell Erna,...

Chateau de Sureau is a beautiful, quiet, luxurious small hotel near Yosemite N.P. Erna and her friendly and gracious staff provide guests with a seamlessly special get away. Luxuriously appointed rooms (each one different) look out upon beautiful gardens and the forested peaks of the mountains. The chateau sits just behind the famous Erna's Elderberry House Restaurant. The restaurant offers...

Chateau du Sureau sets the bar for service, quality and experience. The staff to guest ratio leaves you wanting for nothing. The dining is top notch and the welcome offered on check-in was a joy after a long day of driving to get here. Highly recommended.
