We stayed for 3 nights in October. We immediately loved the place, we had a cozy room that made us feel at home immediately. After a day of hiking, we would relax on the veranda with a glass of complimentary wine, in the evening we watched a DVD (excellent collection) and in the morning we were looking forward to the...

We stayed for 3 nights at the Houndstooth (from 15th Oct). It was wonderful, the whole place is beautifully decorated and very homely. Bill (the owner) and his wife offer complimentary coffee or a glass of wine during the evening and sitting on the verandah relaxing after a days sightseeing in Yosemite is perfect. The Houndstooth is about 2 hours...

We stayed at the Houndstooth Inn for one night on our way from Yosemite (the accommodation in the park was full). The room was very clean, and the bed comfortable bed. The service was friendly and breakfast was fine. All in all a fully acceptable place to stay, friendly service, and most importantly a convenient location near southern entrance to...

We found the Hounds Tooth Inn on a Yosemite travel page and I'm so glad we did. It was such a nice place. Breakfast was good and the coffee was awesome! We stayed in the summer house because it was the only room left with a King sized bed. I would definately pay the extra money to stay there again....

Stayed 4 nites as I wanted a quiet place to return to after days in Yosemite...Walking and talking. Met very nice travellers. Enjoyed the VERY CLEAN and confortable room and lovely little patio areas around the grounds. And the sound of a babbling brook.....The inn keepers provided a lovely breakfast...quiche, a homemade biscuit or coffee cake, toast . bagels, etc,...

We stayed at the Houndstooth Inn for one night on our way to Yosemite. Pros = clean room, comfortable bed, friendly service, and most importantly a convenient location near southern entrance to the park Cons = breakfast was pretty bland (typical continental offerings), room was oddly laid out (sink was in the bedroom rather than the bathroom) Overall, this is...

What a charming B&B. We were tired from a long drive out of Yosemite and were greeted by very friendly staff and offered a list of local restaurants and complimentary wine/ We enjoyed sitting on the chairs outside our room as we sipped our wine and decided on a restaurant. Our room was spotless and quiet. Breakfast was delicious with...

Sometimes you just find a place that ticks all your boxes and the Houndtooth did that for us. We arrived at around 5.30 after a long days drive to be welcomed by the owner offering us a glass of wine. Bliss. Our room was lovely and as it was on the ground floor we had chairs outside our door where...

I can run out of adjectives trying to describe this B&B! It is by far the best B&B I've ever stayed in! We stayed in Garden End room with a jacuzzi. It's truly a heaven to stay here after a day in Yosemite- relaxing in the jacuzzi, wine tasting in the lounge, lying on the plush bed, etc. It's a...
