I have been told not to stay here because of the area being unsafe. Is this a true description of the hotels location and security? Would I have to be worried about coming back to this locations late at night?

My spouse and I felt secure, absent walking in the area late at night. It's mostly commercial/industrial, and we did not encounter any homeless or transients. Arriving and departing by rental car, we had no issues or doubts. We would stay there again, since this Choice chain facility had great value and nice amenities.
