The location isn't bad, just 10 miles from entrance to Lassen national Park. The front office looked clean and modern but the actual campground leaves a lot to be desired. The roads through the campground are devoid of gravel that can keep dirt down and be a smoother ride. There were big pot holes in the campground dirt roads (not... More

This RV Park is a good location for exploring Lassen National Park. The office staff is friendly, helpful and assist you to your campsite. Our campsite was a pretty tight fit for our 19 ft. trailer, between tall pines. I am very thankful that the campground staff helped guide us into the spot. We were right on the Hat Creek,... More

Good location by Lassen National Park and a nice River borders the RV section. Friendly staff. However there are several negatives: very dirty (very little gravel even on interior road), no WiFi, not bigger rig friendly, poor water pressure, sites not well defined.

The staff of Hat Creek Ranch make you feel at home. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a stage coach ride. We then had full run of the ranch to enjoy at our leisure, as we enjoyed the room displays, farm animals and out buildings. Next time we plan to rent one of the stage coach cabins for the night;-)

This is not a big rig friendly park. The campground is set in a forest of tall pines where little sun gets thru so there is no grass, just dirt everywhere. The trees are so thick you cannot tell where the road ends and a campsite begin. All the sites are scattered around, most right on top of the other... More

We arrived earlier than check in time, and got escorted to our site right away and the gentleman was so gracious in helping my husband get our Class A situated. After we got settled in I checked in at the store. It was quick and easy. The RV park was quiet both during the day and also at night so... More

Had an issue with reserving a cabin over the phone. I thought we were set and when we got there realized they had scheduled me for the wrong month. They were awesome and found a cabin that worked for us for our one night stay. Cabin was clean and everything worked as we expected it to. And we enjoyed the... More

We pulled in just for an overnight in our motorhome. The place is real dirt camping! It's a good thing they escort campers to their sites because I'm not sure that we would have found it otherwise. The only difference in the sites and the roads is the roads have pot holes. Did I mention how dusty the place is?... More

When we pulled up to the Resort/RV Park I was a little apprehensive as it appeared to be a rough fishing cabin/motel from the outside. I noticed the rooms on the main floor had no smoking signs posted but not on the room we were in (#6). When we got into the room I was happy and surprised that it... More

We were driving a Class C Motorhome with a tow vehicle. I guess they thought that meant to put us in the WORST campsite ever, even though I booked this trip months in advance and asked for the most private campsite they had. Upon arrival, you had to be escorted into the grounds, b/c the sites were so badly marked... More
