I have owned at Olympic Village Inn since 1992. I spent time in Europe skiing and was immediately attracted to Olympic Village Inn by its architecture. I use the word "cozy" as most suites are kitzbuel units and are smaller than many one bedrooms elsewhere. This is because the buildings were the dorms for the 1960 Winter Olympics, the bathroom...

I stayed at the Olympic Valley Inn (OVI) in Squaw Valley Lake Tahoe during the first week of November on a timeshare exchange through Interval International. My one bedroom second floor unit had a very nice mountain view across courtyard that featured a large fountain. I chose OVI because the architecture looked charming on their website - like a Swiss...

We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us at Olympic Village Inn, we are happy to hear of outstanding housekeeping as we pride ourselves on the property cleanliness. As a historic residence for the athletes during 1960 Olympics we are bound to maintaining certain structural elements of our building. Although the rooms can be tight, we have worked to...

I booked a week thru my timeshare exchange as a staycation! It is a rustic tahoe chalet. Our room was renovated and had a beautiful view. The hot tubs worked and perfect for a cold windy night. The fireplace in the clubhouse was broke and I can see why you call someone for service as the maintenance crew will turn...

I love Squaw Valley in the fall and always stay at the Olympic Village Inn. The location is great parking is very good and does not cost extra. All of the staff go out of their way to make my stay the best it could be.

This was the second stay here for me and my wife. After our great experience staying here in August 2013, we were thrilled to be able to reserve this resort with RCI Points for our week-long stay on 14-21 Aug 2016. Since this resort is near the base of Squaw Valley USA, not having air conditioning is not a problem....

We stumbled upon this resort via a silent auction "win" at a school auction. I didn't know what to expect, but chose it due to availability. My husband and two daughters, ages 8 and 10 have had a wonderful time and were pleasantly surprised. The resort is an old dormitory from when Squaw hosted the 1960 Olympics. The rooms are...

Nice location to Squaw for skiing, can see the mountain, great outdoor pool, even in winter the pool and hottubs are open. But the place has small room, lots of rooms though, can accommodate a lot of people which is good. Small rooms but it is still nice. Old but nice. The best shower pressure I have ever experienced. It...

Good use of space and lovely property. Kitchen well supplied. Furnishings throughout old and worn. Bathroom in need of serious renovation. Tiny ants here and there throughout our room. Equipment in exercise room also quite old. Outdoor hot tubs are nice feature. Terry robes in room were worn and stained. Really?!?

We booked Olympic Village Inn on line from Florida. It did not disappoint. The room was clean and had everything we needed including a small kitchen and smart TV's. The staff was great with lots of suggestions on places to go and see other than the skiing of course. Our room had an amazing view of the mountains. Their recreation...

My son and I stayed here in October and used it as a base to go and enjoy the big playground Tahoe has to offer. When I booked I had a choice between this and a place in South Lake Tahoe......I picked this as I thought it would be more peaceful and relaxing....and it was. The place itself has great...
