For the price, this place was OK. Definitely close to skiing and the village. Our room could have used some sprucing up. A lot of stains on rug and couch. Couch pretty uncomfortable particularly if you're the third person and get stuck sleeping on it!

I have stayed in a loft studio every year for three years. Great location, walking distance to the lifts and the village. And the loft studio accommodates our family of five. I agree with other reviewers that the facility is a bit dated, but still quite comfortable. Many of the units are individually owned, so the units can be furnished...

Indeed one can ski in / ski out from the mountain. My room was spacious and had a kitchen which was great. The small fridge had an even smaller freezer ... that would be the one comment on the kitchen. Loved the fireplace in the main lobby lounge, the ping pong tables in the game room and the well equipped...

Stayed here 4 nites during the '17 ski season. of the 3 main properties near the main base, Squaw Valley Lodge is walking distance of the lifts (skied down to entrance door one day) walking distance of the "village" (bars and restaurants) and not too near the bars and restaurants (noisy at nite). cost was a little pricey but the...

We had a wonderful time at the Squaw Valley Lodge. Our Queen Loft Suite was spacious and exactly what we needed for a group of 6 that wanted to keep costs down. While the room could use some updating both aesthetically and functionally (the toaster and toaster oven were both barely functioning), everything was clean and the beds were unusually...

We stated here for three nights for a long ski weekend and loved it! The location of our room was incredible as it was a ski in/ski out studio unit. The unit was remodeled and much nicer than when we stayed there 2 years ago. I would book this again next time for sure!

We've stayed at this property on and off for over 25 years. Unfortunately it's not at the level it was even a few years ago. Pluses: The location is perfect - walkable to everything and ski in/ski out. Have stayed in a variety of units and they are all good size and (partially) stocked with dishes, etc. Covered parking is...

I made the booking by calling the lodge. They fortunately had a studio room available for the weekend. I made a special request for a room with a view, and Meghan was very kind to accommodate. We stayed in a studio suite that was overlooking the mountain and all the other activity. It was a great experience. Special shout out...

Squaw Valley Lodge is a beautiful place to spend time right next to the lifts. The rooms are very comfortable, well stocked, and nicely decorated.. There are inside and outside hot tubs, cozy, homey lobby area with fireplaces, tables, sofas &, Keoki Flagg art work on the walls. The garage parking is convenient with carts for all your bags and...

Took a quick mid-week trip. Squaw valley Lodge was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a spacious studio with a kitchenette. You can't beat the location, just ski right out the door and the village is just steps away. The hot tub in the snow, with an adult beverage, was a great way to...
