First the good news. The toilet must have been sanitized because it had one of those paper rings on the seat. Now the bad news. Where to begin. The reception sign in area was enclosed with 1”-thick bullet proof glass. Outside an “interesting” lady seemed to be looking for cigarette buts. The bed had just two pillows. There was only one light on the night stand. It did have a plug but it unfortunately shut off when the wall light switch was turned off. I woke up to nearly discharged electronics. The soap and shampoo were super duper cheap. And I had to leave the shower to cut off a corner of the shampoo package with scissors. And the worst part of my visit was that the bathtub was ridiculously slippery and I fell down and hit my head which was the first time I have every done that. A well-deserved two star rating.

This is a super sketchy hotel. Locals at a nearby restaurant told me, “Oh no, you can’t stay there.” I checked out two hours after I checked in. Of course they won’t refund my money. Customers, front desk guy not nice. Not nice at all. There’s a huge creep factor here. The way the place is built there are lots of hidden areas such as stairwells out of public view. Who can sleep wondering if they’re going to be burgled or their car broken into?

The front desk staff was rude and condescending from first contact through check out. They insisted I had not made a reservation when I provided my name and confirmation number. They said that I would have to wait until a room was cleaned--at 5pm. I insisted that they check their computer, which they did not do until the third time I asked, but ultimately found the reservation. They asked me to fill in a document that included my social security number, which is inappropriate in the extreme! They required a $5 deposit for a key card--there's a first time for everything I guess--and they were prepared to keep it when I checked out. They returned it, reluctantly. I have every reason to believe that much of this behavior is related to my ethnicity as there was much discussion between personnel during check-in that was clearly not meant for me to hear. In 2018, this is A BUSINESS TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS!!!

A great place for a stay-cation. Excellent customer service. I am disabled and the staff went beyond the call of duty to make sure all my needs were met. I recommend this place if you need somewhere to get away and unwind.

I have been staying at the hotel for a month for business. I find the staff very accommodating. The rooms are clean and well kept. My only negative thought, and this is a minor issue to me is that the maid staff does not always leave soap when replacing.
