I almost passed the hotel because it is not actually on the road. At first it was underwhelming but once inside the room I was very pleasantly surprised with how well appointed the room was. Fresh and modern with a great bath with a tub and good hot water. Spacious bed, refrigerator, microwave and good climate control all for a reasonable price. Check in was easy and so was check out. Staff was nice and breakfast was included. I never was able to get their WIFI to work but my main goal was a good night’s sleep. Close to the airport and conveniently located near a large variety of stores and restaurants. Not luxury but a great value.
Yes, we flew by LAX but we drove & stayed here after arriving almost midnight so traffic was barely there. We left really early for a 6am flight at LAX on our way back so traffic was not there. The hotel was simple and clean; we were out and away to our destinations most of the time. The bathroom can use a vanity table, actually. Breakfast was spartan, to say the least. But we really enjoyed our stay as they clean & organize the room every day. Friendly non fussy service. Be ready with your IDs. Don't expect something grand; I was told they used to be part of the Super 8 chain but is now independent. We never got to use the swimming pool. We also saw a number of places to go for food and some shopping very near this hotel, which has one of its sides actually by the freeway.
Nice spot! Room was bigger and better anointed than we expected. Comfortable bed. Nice to have a chair and table in the room. Breakfast area was pretty small but served the purpose. Signage and access were not great. Overall good value.
The photos on Hotels.com showed decent looking rooms, etc. but something felt wrong. When I checked Google Street View for the address, I saw there is a quickee mart in the front of the property, and it totally looks ghetto! Therefore I didn't book this hotel.
Given the outside appearance of the hotel (sharing the driveway to Chevron gas station), the room itself is a pleasant surprise, spacious, and modern with USB plugs in every electrical outlet. The breakfast area is actually the same area as 13'x13' lobby with 3 2-person tables pushed together seating a maximum of 8 people. Breakfast items include toaster pancakes, muffins and corn flakes. Almost all the guests take the food to their rooms. However, the hotel represents great value for money.
