We rented 3 cabins for the 12 of us from ages 8 to 77. It was very well maintained. We each had 3 bedrooms full kitchens and 2 baths. It was in just the right spot for all of out hikes and beach visits. We also booked a trip with redwood adventures which is located at the cabins. The tour...

We stayed in the Prairie Creek cabin with our family of six for two nights towards the end of June and had a fantastic time in this home-away-from-home. It was well-stocked with everything we needed, comfortable, and very clean. The elk stayed away the first night but came bright and early the next morning and stayed the entire day. My...

We spent a super 24 hours in Prairie Creek Cabin #9 at the Elk Meadow Cabins. We are a family of 5 and fit perfectly. All amenities were taken care of, including full kitchen, washer dryer, 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. Laundry soap was provided and we were very comfortable. Best of all was the mountain bike tour with Justin....

What a find! A beautifully appointed home inside the Redwood National Park with a resident herd of elk! It might not get better than this. 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, full kitchen, nice furnishings, wifi, cable tv to watch the Warriors games, every convenience thought out and provided. Off the highway, no noise. Only 7 homes in this little neighborhood string....

I booked an over night stay, beware the housekeeping fee- it took the room rate from $229 to $307 for a one night stay. We had a change of plans. We had the cabin BOOKED FOR LESS THAN A WEEK before cancelling. The room was booked in January for a stay in June- OVER 5 1/2 MONTHS IN ADVANCE NOTICE...

We are sorry that you were unable to visit the Elk Meadow Cabins in the Redwood National and State Park and understand your disappointment regarding the cancellation fee. The cancellation policy was written in the reservation agreement because we have a limited inventory of cabins. Having said that our executive management team is reviewing the policy to determine if we...

It's a huge house with nice cooking facilities. Very Clean and tidy. There are so many wild elks around and hence the name. It was a very nice stay. Very highly recommended place to stay especially if you are travelling in a big family. We were 7 of us. All adults. There is one problem though. The wifi is terrible....

My wife and I stayed here October 16, 17 & 18, 2015. All I can say is . . . WOW! Stayed in Johnny Redwood Cabin (#19). Last cabin, farthest from 101. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Came for the elk and was not disappointed. This cabin has the largest front yard tree of all the cabins. Seems the...

Upon reading other reviews I felt this was a good fit for my husband and I. Donna was accommodating and gave me a AAA rate. I felt the price was a bit steep (over $350) for a AAA cabin, for two people, for one night, but I'm so glad we did it! I really wouldn't call this a cabin. It...
