We recently spent 2 nights at Pacific Gardens Inn for our family holiday. Let me first say that the rooms are indeed a bit worn (but very comfortable). However, that is largely outweighed by: Good price compared to other inns Great friendly staff Great location in fantastic Pacific Grove which is a community that immediately appealed to us Very nice...

Very nice hotel, on the way to Big Sur and very close to the beach in the peninsula of Monterey (just 3 minutes away). Kind of wooden rooms, with fireplace. Pretty romantic. Rooms are large and decently clean. Nothing to complain. There're 2 hot tub, each for 4 persons where you can warm back up once returned from the rather...

This place has decent size rooms which are certainly dated but provide acceptable comfort level for price charged in the area. Room charges include breakfast which is good with the only negative aspect being the fact that it can get really crowded and there are not enough seats inside for everyone. One unexpected feature was a popcorn machine in the...

We stayed for 4 nights and loved every minute of it. We had 34 people staying here for a reunion. It was perfect! They have rooms with kitchens or any configuration you may need. The jacuzzi area was perfect for family gatherings, they have a conference room you can use once the sun goes down, it's across the street from...

Hotel was a little difficult to find (it may have been our GPS), front desk clerk was friendly and courteous when we checked in. Room was a little dated, bathroom was clean. We did find ants walking on the counters and in our luggage in and around the bathroom in the morning. If we weren't so tired we probably would...

My aunt and I stayed one night at this cozy little Inn. While we did not have time to enjoy many of the amenities (cheese and wine happy hour, hot tub, pop corn maker, in-room fireplace), we did have breakfast. Make your own waffles, packaged oatmeal, bagels and cream cheese, assorted pastries, hard boiled eggs, whole fruit, cereal, coffee, tea...

Stayed at the Pacific Gardens Inn for just one night on my way to LA from SF through the Big Sur, but that was enough to make me fall in love with this place! The hotel is really nice and the rooms are cozy. Mine had a fireplace (with woodfire and all) and even a pop corn machine. The room...

This place is perfect!! It is in a great location in this laid back town, the owner is above and beyond what you would hope to ever encounter!!! The atmosphere is quaint and a little step back, they actually have keys to the rooms!!! We had a fireplace in our room but didn't have time to use, it was very...

How many hotels have a fireplace full of wood & ready to go? The room was spacious with a large table for old ladies to play cards at in the evening. Close to the golf course, which we played and 10 min from 17 mile Drive. The continental breakfast was above average, lots of variety and wine and cheese in...

My fiance and I took a trip qith our 2 little doggies down to Pacific Grove/Monterey Bay for a combined birthday trip. The staff were friendly and helpful, even though there was a hiccup with our credit card they still worked with us until we figured it out a few hours after checking in. We had a suite in the...
