Although I expected a tired geriatric ambiance I was surprised by the lobby buzz and the poolside energy. There was a surprising mix of elderly couples, college age students and young families. The lobby with the sunken bar/sushi bar area welcomed the visitor into the hotel. Downside was the poor quality of the food. Included in this was the breakfast,...

We arrived late at night and luckily my partner has an excellent sense of direction because finding our room was quite a challenge! After reading other Tripadvisor reviews I was prepared for a walk but we had a maze of elevators, hallways, stairs and a 'shortcut' that included going outside to get to our room that was at least 15...

There are some good things about this property - the housekeeping, the grounds, HBO, fridge in room and pink flamingos. But the negatives outweigh the positives. We three women attending a lawyers convention were assigned Room 4218 upon arrival and told it was a garden room. It was probably the worst room on the property. For some inexplicable reason, the...

I stayed here in order to attend a conference. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are well-appointed/comfortable. At this price point, however, I would expect a superior level of service and, on this point, this hotel falls a bit short. It was quite odd that housekeeping did not service my room for two of the four nights of my...

Been a few yrs since we stayed but it's definitely not as good as it once was. Rooms need facelift but mountain views are still gorgeous. Food at fishermans landing terrible, fish & chips tasted like frozen fish sticks. Pool bar food fine. Sal at pool bar provided wonderful service. Rockwood grill food and service outstanding, esp at breakfast. Food...

Enjoyed yet another wonderful stay at the JW Marriott! Stayed here earlier in the month on a "girls getaway". This hotel continues to provide everything you could ask for in terms of a vacation destination: beautiful property, stunning views, excellent customer service, and a great variety of dining options and activities to choose from. As a Marriott Gold member, I...

We opted for a room with a view of the golf course. There is no easy way to access these rooms directly through the main compound. Room was fine once we located it. This is very large resort so be prepared for lots of walking. Spa Facility was average. We were slightly late for our scheduled appt and the receptionist...

This review is coming from a small, boutique hotel lover. However, the huge resort really is stunning. The pools, landscaping, spa and fitness center, lobby and restaurant spaces are all really great looking. The guest rooms are very nice, though not special but large and clean and just fine. My only issue is that the place, which is enormous and...

Beautiful hotel grounds with relaxing atmosphere. Friendly staff, the bell service at the hotel is excellent. The spa is worth the visit with on time, quality service. I gave the hotel 4 stars because the rooms are a little outdated. Room service was on time but the food was only so-so.

Went to the property for a 3 night gals trip. Faced the pools, best view ever! Room very spacious for the 4 of us. Would have been nice to have had more than 2 patio chairs but we slid out the desk chair and another. Only complaint was we did not know where anything was on the property, such as...
