For a spring stop in Palm Desert, this hotel was reasonably priced. (If anything in P.D. is really reasonably priced in spring.)
Mostly liked: There are multiple places to plug things in. Desk area has acceptable space though the chair is fairly uncomfortable. No other chairs are in the room other than a handy hassack that can be pulled out from under a shelf. A good-sized bench easily fits 2 suitcases. Major plus. Additionally a clothes cabinet is provided along with a 3 drawer dresser (good shelf space on top) and 2 small shelves (no drawers) between the beds. A station contains a small microwave and a refrigerator. The Keurig coffee maker is useful as coffee in lobby proved not fresh or warm in the afternoon. Breakfast is typical with a good seating area. One can walk to some fast food, Starbucks, or Albertsons. The hotel was full but there was adequate parking. It was pretty quiet on the 3rd floor above the front entrance (opposite from the pool).
So so: The double queen is fairly small with the sink outside bathroom – which I always prefer - but very little counter space and no towel holders except in the bathroom. How simple would installation of a towel holder have been? Reception was efficient though not … warm. As there is only 1 chair, the only place to share pizza etc. in the room is the balcony. Reading lighting by beds is poor.
All in all about a 3.5 circle hotel though I did not use any of the exercise facilities. Towel racks and better lighting would earn this 4. I would stay again because of the price and convenience to 111.

This was a good location for several nights stay. Room was clean and bed comfy. Coffee machine was useful. Staff were approachable and knowledgeable. We had several concerns. Firstly breakfast is included in the price but the breakfast area was very small.
Secondly, the clocks went forward during our stay but there was no information given to us about this change. We only found out when we realised we were almost late for an appointment in the morning.

Room 136 is in the worst possible location. It's right next to the room where breakfast is prepared, on the way to a busy utility room, across from the elevator, and facing the lobby/breakfast area. The noise starts before 6:30 am and goes on all day. This is not a room where someone can sleep late or take an afternoon nap. I fully understand that people working need to talk, laugh, call out to each other, and bang objects around. That's why there should not be a guest room in this spot. The space should be used as a storeroom, office or extended eating space.. Why didn't we ask for a different room? We did, but that wasn't a possibility, because I'm mobility impaired, and I need a room with an accessible shower. When we checked in we saw that this was a poor location and asked about another room, but were told this was our only option for a walk-in shower.
Speaking of the shower: Despite two drains in the floor, it flooded every time one of us used it. The water ran out towards the entryway. The wet floor was dangerously slippery, and we ended up using all our towels to mop it up. There are other problems with the shower. The shampoos/body wash dispensers are placed so that they are directly behind a person facing the shower had. A disabled person using the shower chair will be unable to reach those items.
I remember staying at this same hotel five years ago, before I became disabled. We enjoyed a nice "executive" room with a balcony. But a room like that wasn't a possibility for someone needing that accessible (although malfunctioning) shower.
Please see my attached photos for additional info about this room & my experience here.

Room 325 was given to us when we checked in at around 6.15pm on 10th Oct. We saw a "do not disturb signage card" when we were outside Room 325. We went back to inform the front office staff. She informed us "guest left it behind". We went back. My husband opened the door. To our horror, a female guest was inside! My husband apologized. What an embarrassment. This has not happened before. We went back and informed the same front desk staff. We waited for a while, her co-worker took over after attending to a guest. He gave us Room 349. When we checked in I discovered the room faces the highway. I had a special request when we booked the hotel: a room not facing the highway. This was a disappointment.
We saw sticky finger prints on the clock when we checked in! Food remnants on the blue table. This was horrendous. No stringent measure taken by the hotel for Covid-19. Was the room cleaned after guest checked out or the housekeeping staff did not do a good job??? Luckily we had our Clorox wipes. We cleaned the whole room!
Front desk staff(female) had a sour look. We checked in at around 6.15pm. I noticed this was her expression daily.
Apart from the unpleasant incidents we like the furniture in the room. I did read from last reviews the hotel did renovation. Room is spacious.
Good choices for breakfast compared to some hotels which give a grab to go bag.

I had to stay here unexpectedly after blowing out 2 tires on a wind-blown spike strip at a border patrol checkpoint. It was a lot nicer than the budget hotels I had been staying at. It was night time and I was glad to not be scared while getting my stuff from my car to the room. It cost twice as much as the budget hotels but I had a hard time finding a room at the last minute and the border patrol guys gave me a form to fill out to get reimbursed for the expense. I loved staying at a nicer place than the budget places, it felt luxurious.

Nice hotel right on HWY 111. The beds were more comfy than most and the balcony room was large. They keep things clean in the common areas but could do a bit more cleaning in the rooms: mold in the bathroom and wallpaper is bubbled in many places. The staff was friendly while the pool was inviting and offered some shaded areas. Very good breakfast and love those Cinnamon Rolls.

We are here right now and I am disguested and disappointed with this hotel. We are in room 233 and when we got into the room, the first thing we noticed was that the carpet floor was soppy wet and then when we walked from the wet carpet onto the tile, it left dirty footprints because the carpet is so filthy. I will not let my children walk around without shoes. The tile is not even clean and is sticky when you walk across it. I'd hoped the balcony would make up for it but it is the worst view I have ever seen, looking into a run down utility area and what looks like an electrical substation over the fence, complete with rotting random boards that look like they've been laying there for years. After we got in the bed, the fridge started making this horrendous noise. Reservation for 3 people, but only 2 towels for the bath. They don't give you those little shampoo bottles, and instead have shampoo dispensers stuck to the shower wall, and of course ours is not only caked about with old shampoo that wasn't cleaned off, but after I cleaned it off, it was totally clogged, so I didn't even get to wash my hair good. Lots of things about the room look dated, like the door handles that have little tinges of rust, and the fire/sprinkler on the bathroom wall that is rusting through the thick layers of paint. There were many things that weren't clean to standard, with crumbs and hairs in the corners. I am sad we wasted a day here, and even though we have reservations for another day, I'm considering abandoning the 2nd day reservation to stay elsewhere. We have checked the coffee 3 times since getting here, and not once was the coffee in the lobby hot. I am not usually a complainer, and this is only about the 2nd hotel review I've ever left.

We booked this hotel because we had a construction job near by and needed to supply lodging for our employee's for the last 4 mos. Craig Gilmore (General Manager) was an absolute pleasure to work with. Anytime we need to make a change (drop a day, add days) all I'd have to do is email him and he would take care of it. Very responsive! Our employee's said the rooms were clean, staff was nice and the breakfast in the morning was great! We truly appreciated the service we received.

We needed to check in an hour early as we had a tour to go to. A LIVE person answered the phone and gave us a choice of 3 rooms which would be available for us. So check-in went quickly and smoothly. Kudos to newbie Josh who was fresh from NY.
The hot portion of breakfast could use improvement, but the room was immaculate and comfortable and quiet. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.
Our room even had a small outdoor balcony. Mini fridge and microwave and coffee maker as well as free parking.

Sorry, I don't remember hearing anything. Nice hotel.
The hotel is designated as "smoke-free." Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas outside of the hotel building. This would mean that smoking on private balconies is prohibited and you could be subject to a rather large cleaning fee if the hotel were to find damage.
Thank you so much for your inquiry. We are pet friendly, there is a $25 pet fee per night. All of the rooms on the second and third floors have balconies.
I believe there was but can't say for certain. Sorry!
I don't believe they have walk out rooms to the pool. I do know they have ground floor rooms, with windows onto the pool.
I believe all the rooms open into an interior hallway.
