This is my third trip to Desert Hills. The hotel is clean, comfortable, convenient and lots of fun. The staff is very helpful and Jim the manager has tons of great suggestions for dining and night time activities. I have already made my reservations for next year.

What a great place to stay in Palm Springs! Very nice amenities, room was very clean, with a retro feel. Easy walking distance to downtown (Starbucks) and nearby restaurants. Enjoyed dinner at The Falls and Sullivans. Played golf at Indian Canyon which is only 10 minutes from the hotel. Another benefit was its close proximity to the airport. Looking forward...

If you don't know what Karen Brown is about, you should. Her hotel guides feature small, boutique hotels of excellent quality and the Desert Hills Hotel has been in her guides for several years. I thought it was worthy of the listing. The quiet residential neighborhood was pleasant and an easy walk to Old Town Palm Springs. My room was...

Had a lovely time at this 50's style hotel. We had booked two rooms. One room was smaller and had a generator that was quite noisy. The manager was extremley gracious, moved and upgraded us immediately. The rooms are comfortable, beds are fantastic. The hotel is about a five minute walk down to the main road. The pool and communal...

Wonderful slice of heaven in the hills...We had a fabulous time in Palm Springs, and we owe much of it to Jim, who runs the Inn as if it were his own. I was traveling with two friends, and we were floored by the wonderful experience we had staying here. First of all, our suite was the largest I have...

Ok, so the view is beautiful of the mountains and the owners have done a good job updating the property. In keeping with the 50's feel however, do they have to have 50's coffee?! We paid ($140 a night) for the ambiance of a well kept, but older property, but who wants retro/old tasting coffee? What a way to start...

We spent two Sept nights here in the midst of our frenetic roadtrip of the West Coast to Las Vegas. It is a delightful property with the spectacular San Jacinto Mtns as it's backdrop. Lovely pool and great rooms ..... Jim was so helpful with our various requests. It is the ideal place to just chill out - and in...

Great location - very quiet but can still walk into downtown PS with ease. Very nice rooms (we had 1 bed a suite). Check out their website - does exactly what it says on the tin.

What a great little hotel! It's got everything - comfort, style, great pool, resident road runner, and location, location, location. The style is perfect '50s/60's. Doris & Rock would love it. It was so relaxing that we didn't even leave the hotel for the 1st day. Just chilled in the pool while it was 114F everywhere else. When the sun...
