Very friendly and they offered to take a picture of us with our camera. It does get really hot outside so if you can go to a morning session, that'd...

The room was comfortable and clean. The food was always very good, breakfast, lunch and dinner. If horse riding is your passion there are better places to go as the stables are a separate entity .The countryside is nice particularly if like me you like a desert environment .

I love it! No glitz!! Old lovely desert! Most wonderful food ever!! Rustic cottages with wood burning fireplaces. American plan includes all of your food and it's the best food you could ever imagine. I've been going my whole life and it's exactly the same as it's always been! Warm and convivial!

My son Mac and I went out to Smoke Tree Stables for a ride in the morning, we had a fantastic time. We were welcomed by friendly staff and felt like we were in a very rural ranch setting. The horses in the corral were healthy, and well cared for, and in talking to ranch staff we knew we were...

A fabulous trail ride through the desert! Wonderful horses, great guide and amazing views! We trailered into Indian Canyons and rode for about an hour and a half. Our guide Deb was entertaining and informative. Very patient with beginners!

I went on one of their trail rides and it was truly stunning. I highly recrommend the trail guider Casey (kay-see) he was an amazing trails person who was great at giving helpful corrections. He showed us all of the amazing landscapes and helped the little girl with her trotting. We went through a deserted river bed to a beautiful...

I love this place. The horses are happy and healthy, the trails beautifully marked and maintained, and above all the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. A must do as often as possible. I cannot wait to go back.

“This is not open to the general public, so don't be offended if you are not given access. There are several styles of cottages from which to choose, which can accommodate varying numbers of guests. However, ask how the bathrooms are arranged!”

“There are not a lot of cabins/rooms, as it's a small facility. However, for something special, ask for one of the Disney rooms. They have great photographs on the walls!”

“Closer to the "ranch House" is better for access. The updated rooms cost more but may be worth the upgrade?”
