With the Red Roof name, I sort of expected something that is maybe a step above Motel 6. Instead, it is maybe 2 steps below. There is a lot of cosmetic damage to the motel and to the rooms, and most of it has been fixed with either tape or different color paint. My room was a non-smoking room, as requested, as were most of the rooms on the 1st floor. However, there was a stench of tobacco and weed smoke in the hallway, some of which crept into my room. The room was also rife with the odor of industrial disinfectant. Overall, the hotel is poorly maintained and should be avoided.

This hotel Iam in red roof hotel Palmdale/ Lancaster the front desk is horriable because they did not come to us we have wait like 30 to 45 for my turn to get room than we get to room bathtub was not clean they have old dirt nasty furniture that look like 1980 they need to replace new furniture and refrigerator too old like someone beat them up bathroom ok but room and bed ok but they need to replace new furniture I can't put my stuff on this dirt loveseat or chair I can't even think about sit in that furniture sorry this not what I look for but price is ok if anyone want to stay here at redroof hotel please check room before you book I won't come back here unless they remodel whole hotel and room too

Nothing special, but it is clean and cheap. They don't have an elevator and are doing some maintenance, but our stay here was completely average. The wifi didn't work and the shower head wouldn't turn on. It's a cheap motel for a cheap price. About what you would expect, but our room was ok.

'When we first walked into our room the wood floors were really sticky, so we took a washcloth and cleaned them. When we wet the washcloth we found that the water from the sink was draining onto the floor under there sink, so we put the trash can under there. Then, until about 2 in the morning there were kids running running up and down the hallways (upstairs and downstairs) screaming and hitting the walls and parents right behind them screaming. I finally yelled out the door for them to stop and then it quieted down. The second night it was the same thing, kids and their parents running up and down the hallways screaming and banging in walls. Finally at midnight I called the front desk and asked them to make thet people stop. She said what noise I don't hear anything. I said 'you have got to be kidding me, they have been running up send down the hallway screaming for hours. Go stand in the hallway for a few minutes you will hear it.' It finally quieted down. We went to the front desk this morning and told the girl everything and she acted like she didn't care. We won't be back and this review is going everywhere I can put it.' The girl mumbled she "Sorry' and then handed me my receipt. There was no concern, no attempt to make things right or to even contact a manager. My husband and I were both really upset about this whole thing. We spent almost $150 for 2 nights to have this kind of an experience both nights in a row. Also, there are new mattresses lined up against the walls in the hallway on really filthy carpet, the vending machines in the lobby were all almost empty. I just can not say enough about how bad this experience was. We were in town for my Dad's memorial and this really didn't help matters at all.

Who is the worst hotel ever been in. First of all they were over priced secondly when you walk in the place smells awful like the carpets never been shampooed, the rooms were very Stinky with stench. In my room alone, there was bugs crawling up and down the wall. People in other rooms on the same floor had dogs in there and they were barking and whimpering all night long without being told to be quiet. People were in the adjoining room drinking yelling screaming carrying on. There are no lamps in the rooms. All the furniture looks like it’s been had a down from a goodwill store somewhere in town. An absolute horrible experience of two days of nothing but filth. There are no coffee makers in the rooms they don’t offer coffee or pastries in the morning you have to walk down the road to McDonald’s if you want something it’s just a horrible horrible experience to even think about sleeping there. I’m afraid to ask for my money back, I might get stabbed by the personnel.

Red Roof Inn hotel is an amazing place to stay! It includes all of my families necessities, talking about inside the room and outside the room. They provide breakfast and snacks! The staffs there are very helpful, ones to count on. And not to forget, their shopping centers nearby are awesome! Definitely come back again

I thought Red Roof great It would be a very nice place to stay the night! What a mistake it was to stay as when I finally check in the key did not work and went back to the desk and fixed key only to find when I opened the door the room had been smoked in did ask for another room but said there were none I wonder as this is a big hotel with 2 floors and not a lot of cars did notice lot of suspicious guests there. Also my room was not in very good shape noticed round hole in the shower about 1 inch hopefully there was not a camera in there also electrical outlet covers missing and so much filth around the A/C unit along with the outside everywhere broken screen, a old vacuum cleaner and the trash bins around the property were over flowing and then some . Also there was pounding and banging going on till 9:30PM in some other room . Then in the morning there were dogs dogs running loose in the hall and barking for about 30 minutes. Then some guest outside got in his car and blasted his radio for about 20 minutes at 6AM . Early staff was not the most friendly person as i tried to check in at 1:30PM but said to come back and did not try but afternoon girl was nice but still think she could have found me another room. that had not been smoked in.

We walked into our room only to find it literally covered in trash, beer bottles everywhere, the toilet filled with feces, etc. absolutely disgusting. The smell of smoke in the rooms and halls is terrible. Like, burn your eyes terrible. No masks are required in the “hotel” as well, so do with that information as you will. I have a video of the room, but am not sure how to post it.

Trash in the hallways, outside by the entry door like someone was evicted.
Now the room I was in was pleasantly clean....until I saw the face towel with mold on it.
So in short proceed with caution.
I guess you get what you pay for!

You ought to pick another hotel if you are that exacting in your requirements. I have stayed here, and it is just......adequate. You will be disappointed.
There are more places to choose from in the Palmdale area.
