I stayed here while attending a program at Stanford. Outstanding deal when you compare price and location to your other choices. Great location. Service was good. I will likely stay here again on future visits to the area and would recommend to all.

We have been making somewhat frequent trips to the area in the past year and stumbled upon the Coronet. It is very modest in appearance both on the exterior and interior. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. I slept great during this stay. The location is convenient to Stanford. I loved being able to...

I was in town for a couple days on business and this little hotel was the perfect sanctuary. From the outside it's a pretty basic motel. However, on the inside the rooms have been recently remodeled, are super clean, and the bedding is nice and cozy. Traveling alone I felt very safe and comfortable. It's located less than a 10...

This motel was booked for a special trip on-line due to its excellent ratings and its price, that seemed a bit expensive but was less so than others rated much lower. When my daughter and I arrived, I was a bit taken back by it's appearance, It looked a lot like a 1960s two story motel that reminds me of...

The Coronet is a great small hotel for a visit to the peninsula. We stayed here for daughters Stanford Softball camp. The rate was comparatively low for days following graduation weekend. Game fields were about 1.5 miles away. Small kitchenette was perfect for storing and preparing Whole Foods sourced food and snacks for two day visit. Very clean. When I...

Clean and comfortable are my two biggest wants in a room. This hit the mark on both accounts. When my husband checked in, we were upgraded to a room with 2 queens (vs. queen & pull out). Be aware that the "two room suites" listed on the website are actually a kitchenette area and around the corner are the beds...

My stay at the Coronet Motel was a surprise. I needed a location close to Stanford University and the Sheraton/Westin hotels. I was not familiar with the area and relied on other’s reviews of the Coronet on Trip Advisor. My fellow reviewers did not let me down! The Coronet is a jewel on El Camino Real. Nothing fancy but well...

Before checking into the Coronet Motel I was a little apprehensive - it looked pretty old school in a very upscale area. I was, however, very pleased with the location and room. It is about as close to Stanford University as you can get in terms of a motel or hotel. The room seemed to have been recently remodeled except...

The Coronet Motel was affordable on a weekend night. The room was clean, airy and spacious, with a sizable fridge. The bathroom was good. The location right on El Camino is 'driving distance' convenient for both Palo Alto and Stanford.
