Pillows were flat. There are signs of aging. It was comfortable enough for our short stay. Easy access to all the venues we were participating at. Staff were very accommodating. We did like the fact that the alley was bricked and not accessible. Gave us a since of security.

The only questionable thing was Upon entering the room there were three very large stains on the carpet thus we kept our socks on whilst walking about. I decided to take a bath and Surprisingly it was of ample size not the small cheesy ones most motels feature. We had been to a couple of restaurants and had leftovers to put in the small refrigerator and heat the next morning in the microwave, thus saving on waste and breakfast :D The staff were very friendly and helpful.

There was no electricity at the hotel due to construction on the street, I had already paid and booked the room in advance and when i showed up the only notice that power was out was a small piece of paper taped on the window when i checked in. I was sitting in my room in complete darkness for an hour before the power came on. There were long curly black hairs all over the pillows and sheets of the bed, thankfully I had blankets in my car to lay over them so I didn't have to sleep in a random person's hair. The toilet paper roll only had a few pieces left, and the shampoo and lotion bottles were half empty, the room smelled musty and gross. Would not recommend staying here even for cheap price.

When my family comes to town I make them reservations at local good hotels on the less expensive side. I haven't checked out this hotel for years (back when they were called motels). The staff is very cordial, the upkeep on the property is great, The warmth and cleanliness of the rooms was appreciated.
There is not a lot of sights within walking distance but their is within a few miles by auto, This part of Colorado Blvd gets quiet after rush hour. So it is a good location if you are looking to get some rest and relaxation.
My family thought it was a great choice, so thanks to La Casa Inn, I remain the wise old guy with my family.

The pictures are the bad opposite of how it actually looks. It is really run down and it has alot of homeless traffic going through. We made last minute reservations here because it was cheap, looked clean and most motels were already booked. It says you get free Internet but you don't, not a big deal. The problem is when they supposably clean the rooms they don't put extra towels or toilet paper and when my husband went to the office to get extras he had to argue with the man behind the glass to get them. When my husband went to return the keys on check out the lady owner said she was going to charge our credit card an extra $170 for using extra towels and toilet paper. The gentleman that checked out before my husband she charged his card an extra $400 because she said he had too many people in his room. This is a privately owned motel so they don't have to answer to anyone and they don't care about customer service. Don't stay at this motel your better off sleeping in your car.

This is not a good place to stay.
There's a Super 8 across the street which is cheaper and a hell of a lot nicer.
They boasted that the rooms were recently renovated - it was obvious that it had been done on the cheap.
There were cockroaches in the room and a harley davidson workshop next door.
I wouldn't stay here again.

Do not stay in this hotel unless you want to hear the renovation during the day and prostitution during the night.
I stayed there over the Labor Day holiday and recently was treated to a demolition of the other wing of the motel starting on the Tuesday after Labor Day. The parking lot was filled with a demolition dump truck and the demolition continued from 9:00 a.m until 9:30 p.m. and longer. We checked out on Thursday and the demolition is still continuing. The prostitutes come on the weekend around 10:30 p.m. until 3:30 a.m. There is no other explanation for the series of men who go in and out a room during the night. Avoid this motel like the plague. The rooms may be renovated in one section but there is a dark side to the motel.

First of all, when you book online the pictures look nothing like the actual "establishment". It is a dilapidated dirty building with rickety old stairs I was afraid to climb up to even get to our room. Once inside, the broken stained mismatched furniture is a far cry from the tranquil spa-like environment depicted in the images on the website. The refrigerator was broken and leaked water all over the mildewed carpet...(oh gee I wonder why) which made our luggage stink so badly we had to put it in a plastic bag upon leaving. Lastly, when my girlfriend and I were preparing to leave the next morning ( we only lasted one night) we received a phone call from the front desk informing us it was time to check out. Amazed by my inability to keep track of the time I checked the clock to see it was only 11 a.m. but on the website when we booked the room it stated check out time was noon. When I mentioned this to the lady on the phone she informed me that they changed their check out time (we booked literally 2 days before we arrived) and that we would subsequently be charged an additional night if we didn't adhere to the changed check out time an leave immediately. It was a terrible experience I don't wish upon anyone save yourself the trouble and book a room with the Best Western just down the street for the same price.
