We read multiple reviews on Trip Advisor before selecting Seven Quails and we were not disappointed! The view is superb. You can see all of Paso Robles wine country. The rooms were elegantly appointed, comfortable and very clean. Our hostesses were so gracious. They even helped my husband in making the day even me more special by surprising me with...

We hope you'll be back soon too! Fond memories is what we try and provide; we are glad we connected with the two of you. And thank you for taking the time to write some kind word about us.

This is as good as it gets, folks. We spent two nights at Seven Quails during our first-ever visit to Paso Robles in early February. The hospitality of the hosts, the food, the home, the property, the views, as well as the nearby wineries, are equally fabulous. Dave and Karina really know how to take care of their guests. Can't...

"Softly, as in a Morning Sunrise" is a love song that dates back to 1928. The Seven Quails, a B&B with a spectacular view overlooking Paso Robles wine country, makes this tune come alive balancing attentiveness and privacy, while turning your stay into a tango that you won't soon forget. Beginning with a breakfast showing off Karina's culinary talents to...

My wife and I and her niece and significant other spent two nights (and part of the days) at Dave and Karina's this week. A+ in all respects! Beautiful facilities and location to go along with the gourmet breakfasts that we enjoyed. They say that there are currently 233 wineries in the Paso Robles area. We managed to visit 4...

My wife and I were looking for a great place to stay in Paso. For the same price as many of the chain hotels we found a treasure in David and Karina's B&B. Beautiful view and the food not only tasted great, the presentation was wonderful. Felt like the place was our own house only better. They are great hosts...

Thank you for the kind words about Seven Quails viz a vie the hotel chains. It is always nicer to stay in your own home and if Seven Quails feels like your home, well then we have achieved what we set out to do: provide you with a completely relaxing experience. Your vote of confidence is very gratifying.

I have now been to Seven Quails 5 times and I return because of a few pretty basic elements. First, the serenity; this place is really lovely with incredible vistas and postcard views of the Paso Robles Valleys and Hills. Second, the food; I am a foodie and love the fact that Dave and Carina are foodies too. They have...

Foodies are especially prized visitors; their willingness to judge new recipes, offer comments and encouragement make our days efforts worthwhile. We also appreciate the comments about bed firmness. We are incorporating a firm bed – soft bed option into our booking procedure to address your suggestion about sleeping comfort . And of course, by the fifth visit you ARE an...

Sher & I make it point to stay in B&B's when we travel; and, of all those B&B's, 7 Quails is #1 in our book. Karina and Dave are the best hosts we have encountered, making us feel welcome and "at home". Their B&B is spacious, well layed-out and quite luxurious, with a homey atmosphere. Trying to describe the scenery,...

It’s great to have folks from east of the Mississippi appreciate these Californians’ hospitality, food, and scenery. It says something about how civilized and refined we appear to be. Well we work hard at it and these kind words inspire us to even higher flights of recipe and hospitality fancy. Ah, but then again we get carried away. Your visit...

My wife and I were stopping over on our way home. "Room with a view" was superb, definitely had a great view, large room and a bathroom with all the latest features. We enjoyed our late afternoon talk with Dave and Karina, including their wine and snacks. Breakfast was delicious with food only home cooking could provide.

Thank you Bruce for the kind words of encouragement! They make our efforts worthwhile. Our only wish, a bit selfish but not for monetary reasons, is that you and your lovely wife could have perched at Seven Quails a bit longer so we could have gotten to know the two of you better. Perhaps on you net trip through Paso!

Sipping hot French pressed early morning coffee in bed while reading the newspaper and gazing at breath taking views of almond trees growing on rolling hills started off the perfect day in Paso Robles. David and Karina prepared delicious breakfasts such as eggs Florentine served with sautéed baby carrots and grilled cherry tomatoes accompanied by crusty rustic toast and homemade...

My boyfriend and I went to Paso Robles to attend a wedding in August 2011 and stayed at Seven Quails for two nights. The place is just outside of town and the views are lovely. Comments from experienced reviewers are a prized commodity so we thank you for taking the time to comment on your Seven Quails experience. We do hope you’ll return when more flowers are in bloom, the vines are filled with foliage. And a few new recipes are added to the breakfast menu.
