It's OK. Midweek rates for a decent room run @ $225/night including tax....double that for weekends. But for $200 one would expect to get fresh towels. Like EVERY hotel/motel /BnB I've been in all over the world on 5 continents, leaving your towels on the floor of the bathroom was the signal to get clean, dry towels...Here one must leave them on the floor IN THE HALLWAY...so, after a long day you come back to your room to freshen up before dinner and...you get the rest. Not acceptable, IMHO. Rooms were clean. The TV worked. The staff was genial enough but there was NO extra roll of TP...Again, for $200 it's not too much to ask.
Spent four sleepless nights in this hotel. Arrived Monday and was told that the upstairs room we had requested does not even exist. We were on the 2nd floor. Ok-that was annoying but not upsetting. Unfortunately for us, we had a family with three children directly above us who ran, jumped and basically ran around from the minute they awoke (8 AM) till the minute they went to sleep (11 PM) Thank God we were gone for 4-6 hours a day playing golf. It was soooo noisy. The floors/ceiling were not existent ..room actually shook from the noise. Could not even relax in the evening..bed needed replacing, room was stuffy from poor heating/air conditioning system. If you opened a window it sounded like a freeway truck/car was driving thru your room...Terrible. I averaged 3-4 hours of sleep a night. The whirlpool tub was not easy to enter or exit-so we did not use it at all. ..worst trip we have had in the last 5 years. The staff was friendly, but had no control over the many many things that are wrong with this hotel. They spent the money on "glitz" it is a pretty place to look at..but not to sleep in. Oh, also they blamed COVID (which is basically a thing of the past for most people) for not being able to offer any kind of house cleaning due to no staff etc. ...and we found the hotel to be about a 5 on the clean scale. The furniture (tho pretty) very very very uncomfortable to sit in for more than 1 hour...so forget watching any TV and using the living room (which we paid for) and plan on watching TV in your bed. Which is also uncomfortable. All in all...save your money...go somewhere else.…
We had a one bedroom suite for three nights at a cost of $1400+ . The room was by the elevator and anytime it was in use we became very much aware- all night long! Between that and the stomping noise from the room above us, and the noise from the lobby, sleeping was impossible. I asked that the room be refreshed with new towels and trash emptied and more coffee added-I was told that they only did that every two days! I took my filled trash can to the maid and emptied it and brought my dirty towels to her when we returned in the late afternoon but she said she didn’t have any more towels. The manager came out of another room and he was very cordial and said he would have some sent up. I complained to him of the constant noise in our room and he offered to give us a bottle of wine which was nice but it does not solve the constant noise level. I suggest anyone coming to the Paso Robles area to stay at the Hampton Suites (which was right next door)or any other hotel for half of the price. I was very disappointed and felt cheated at the La Bellasera!…
This hotel is beautiful and feels like you are staying at a luxury hotel in Las Vegas. Rooms are incredibly clean and furnished beautifully. I stayed her 1 night with my husband and enjoyed every moment of it. June the “General Manager” was extremely professional and provided top notch service. I would defiantly stay here again. 4 diamond rating shows throughout the hotel!!!!
Our car broke down and we were stranded in Paso Robles. Lucky for us, we stumbled into La Bellasera! This is a very nice hotel; clean, quiet, interesting landscape & decor, quality furnishings, etc. But the real gem is the staff. Everyone we encountered (with the exception of one rather immature desk clerk at check-in) went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. The other desk clerks, housekeeping and restaurant staff were unbelievably kind and friendly, and that meant so much to us. Thank you for turning a stressful experience into a truly great surprise visit.
